Went to Dr. Abraham Hawatmeh for a 2nd opinion. His bedside manner is awful. I went with my husband to ask questions and he completely dismissed me. To the point that he crossed the room and bent over to get in my husband's face. He walked in supporting the other doctors' recommendation and then proceeded to contradict himself multiple times, which he tried to cover up with a face mask, his accent, and fast talking. He also interrupted us every time we tried to speak. The only positive is the office staff I spoke with was exceptional.

I was a patient of Dr. Abraham Hawatmeh recently. I never write reviews on physicians, but felt that it was extremely important for me to write this so that it hopefully helps others. My experience at my appointment was the worst one I've ever had and I'm not someone who gets bothered by much. I could barely get a word in to explain my issue, as he spoke over me/interrupted me several times. He came to conclusions without even hearing my additional symptoms and anytime I'd attempt to say anything at all about my symptoms, it was obvious he wasn't listening and he would interrupt half way through. The part that REALLY made me realize he didn't care to put effort into the consultation/workup was when I had told him that all my symptoms began after having tested positive for a specific type of bacteria at a different office. He looked at my bedside urine dipstick test and said to me, "your urine test doesn't show that, so you don't have that". I am a medical professional who has performed these urine dipstick tests myself and I know for a fact that even advanced urine dipstick tests do not have the capability to detect that specific bacteria. The dipstick test has limitations and can only show the presence of certain types of bacteria (and even then needs to be sent off to a lab to determine the actual type) and can show ph level, etc. The urine would have had to have been sent off to a lab for urine culture or PCR for analysis. The test could say negative for bacteria despite an infection with the specific type of bacteria I'm referring to due to the limitations of the tests (they are only able to show positive for certain types of bacteria). So he literally lied to me by saying that something could be ruled out when it couldn't. If he had reasons that he didn't suspect the specific bacteria I'd had that started my symptoms had anything to do with my continuing symptoms, that would be perfectly acceptable to me if he took the time to explain his reasoning (even if a very brief explanation or even just saying he didn't want to check for it without explanation is better than lying) but he assumed I didn't have further knowledge on the topic, so he lied to avoid having to address it in any way. By that point, I'd realized he wasn't interested in doing anything other than what he'd already had his mind set on prior to entering the room, so I didn't even bother calling him out on the false information I was given. I always make sure I am very fair and honest when giving any type of review, so I will list the positives despite there being very few: He had a generally friendly tone. Obviously interrupting and not giving sufficient time for the patient to relay symptoms is rude, but his tone was not angry or yelling. I could see him maybe being an okay physician for someone who has a standard and very common urological issue that is textbook and straightforward. In conclusion, this physician left me feeling so disheartened and defeated, not only because my problem that was causing me significant issues with my daily life was no closer to being solved, but also because I felt so dismissed and disrespected. I do not recommend this physician to anyone.

I'm was struggling one year, surgery changing doctors until God send me to Doctor Abraham Hawatmeh .He quickly figured out what to do scheduled surgery and fix my problems just in one week. Thank you Doctor Abraham I truly recommend to everyone .

I have been with Dr. Hawatmeh for over 16 years now and I have always received phenomenal care from him and his staff. Dr. Hawatmeh listens to you and cares for his patients more than anyone else I’ve had. He goes above and beyond and makes sure to get the help you need. There are not enough words to explain how amazing he is! I highly recommend him!

He is friendly and knowledgeable. He found I had cancer in my prostate 15 years ago and did robotic surgery with just a few small scars to show. Im cancer free so far.

Have been through many kidney stone procedures with this doctor and now facing cancer of the prostrate and with this team on my side makes it much easier to manage

Dr Abe hawatmeh has the worst the bed side manner I have ever experienced. During the procedure he gave me my shot didn’t wait for anything to take effect and starting cutting. I was in pain and winched and he told me to calm down and thought I would be tougher. Caused me To basically go into a panic attack and almost hyperventilated the rest of the procedure which got less painful as the anesthetic actually worked what a piece of work. I yelled at the staff on the way out cause like who treats people like that I’m appalled and would never see this guy again I can’t wait to tell him to his face.
