List of Ann M. Hennessey's Reviews
It’s great she was okay with alternate vaccine schedule. However, she lacks medical knowledge and is very impersonal. She is negligent as her prescribed treatment for labial adhesion was causing severe side effects and blistering of the skin, when I called to report it she still recommended continued use. I requested a referral to specialist, he agreed with me that is common for steroid cream to cause skin reaction and her adhesions where not severe to require treatment to just apply Vaseline. She went ahead and did fluoride varnish when I declined and got other parent’s consent behind my back. She does not respect parent’s choice or wishes, even when the mother herself is a resident physician. I could not have a professional conversation with her, she gets defensive and not willing to accept other opinions. The office flagged my account and I could not talk to her provider or make appointment because the father came in and had me removed from my daughter’s account. I was added back after he called and had their office manager add me back without a court order or anything legally refusing my right to have access to my daughter’s medical records.
Condescending to new parents. Nurse practitioner doesn’t have medical knowledge beyond medicating, contradicts what she said in previous appointments. Scary honestly. Time for them both to retire.
She is a nice person but lacks indepth knowledge and care.
I had to leave a review. We have seen this doctor a few times now for my newborn daughter and I absolutely love her. I will be bringing all of my kids to her. At our first apt she & her team were able to determine why nursing was so difficult for us (my daughter had a lip tie) when the doctors and even lactation consultant at the hospital I delivered at somehow missed it even after looking. She clipped it right then and there and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for that.
She literally the best
Allowed non custodial parent to get my child vaccinated against my wishes, avoid mercy all together.
I LOVE the doctor.......BUT the office is so inefficient, always running 30-60 minutes late. It is not possible to get through a scheduled appointment in less than 2 hours. I adore the doctor, but am tempted to find a new one solely based on how inefficient the office is.
Mercy hospitals and clinics are very busy places. The management micro manages and keeps doctors on a tight schedule. They also squeeze in patients sometimes, double book and accept late arrivals. Also staff might have their own set of problems. In my opinion rating Dr. Ann Hennessey (an individual) and her "profession" based on above criteria (that she can not control) is not fair. Dr. Ann Hennessey is a very friendly, never judges, a keen listener, knows when to write a prescription, attentive and a person with a lovely heart. My 6 yr old son and new born are her best buddies. :)
She is knowledgeable and sweet
Dr Hennessy is smart, kind, experienced (as a mother of five herself), and down to earth. She provides information and answers all questions thoroughly, and also respects parent's choices. I'm so glad I found her!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
