List of Arun S Varadhachary's Reviews
Master of medical gaslighting.
Dr. Varadhachary told me that it was no big deal to have an MG crisis, "we put you in the hospital get you back on track, it's just a hiccup, no big deal!" So having to be in and out of the hospital is no big deal to him I guess because it doesn't affect his life. Said I didn't need to be on the medication I have been taking because I am not bad enough to be on it! Wants me to trust him, I think not, since he doesn't respect the challenges I have had my whole life. I will not be retuning to him and wish that I had researched him more before going.
We have been so impressed with the care we have received from Dr Varadhachary and his staff. Always attentive, fully discussing our condition & treatment, never rushing us through our visits. Excellent experience.
Excellent staff at all levels, truly exceptional. Dr. Varadhachary is a wonderful physician and a model for all doctors!
I can't say enough about the care Dr. V. gave to my mom. She was diagnosed with PSP in Savannah GA and we convinced my parents to move to St. Louis. We were referred to Dr. V and he saw her almost right away. His care of my mom was unprecedented. He helped manage meds, many of which she didn't need, worked with mom's other Dr.'s regarding some meds and spent much time talking to me and explaining what was happening and why he was taking the course of action he was taking. He was always prompt answering my emails, no matter how late I sent them or how silly the questions seemed to be. Even when mom was close to uncommunicative, he always spoke directly to her, waiting for her to answer the best she could. Such respect for my mom, even in her illness. He checked on her towards the end of her illness and was extremely helpful in the end. My mom has passed and he recently called not only to give results but to check on my dad and family. Again, I cant say enough.
I love Dr. Varadhachary! He spends a lot of time with me, he's very friendly and is on top of my condition. I couldn't ask for a better, nicer Dr.
I would not take my dog to him! Waste of time! Waited 7 months for my appt. He sat there smug. He would ask a question then snap at me not to talk when he is writing. He snapped at my husband who accompanied me as well. His comments were insulting. He said that he had other patients to see. I felt as if I were a bother to him. He did not know what is wrong with me nor did he lead me in the direction of someone else to help. He did not say thank you, goodbye, kiss my a- - , nothing. He obviously failed his “bedside manner” class. I would not recommend this condescending, arrogant, you know what. He should be ashamed of himself. He makes Barnes-Jewish Washington University Hospital look bad. 7 months of preparation & tests for my appt down the drain.
Dr. Varadachary you can't ever get a hold of him. Calls back like 1 week later which landed me in the er. Terrible Doctor
Very knowledgeable and current on medical issues. Very personable.
Drove six hours to see this doctor. So disappointed. Do not bother or waste your time. He has no empathy whatsoever. He is a know-it-all! The patient knows nothing. The patient is stupid! Arrogant a**hole...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
