List of Bassam A. Hadi's Reviews
Dr. Hadi is simply the best. I truly feel like he saved my life. Its because of him that I can walk again without my foot dragging on the ground. I honestly don't understand the people complaining about his bedside manner. Every time I see him, I feel like he's very caring. He listens to me, and I really appreciate feeling heard by my doctor. I don't have one negative thing to say about him or the office staff. They all are top notch!
I had a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage / aneurysm back in September 2019. I was rushed to the hospital and Dr. Hadi was on staff at the time. I thank God he was there. Some may call it bad bedside manors but, I call it straight to the point, down to business. Nothing wrong with that!
I had my second spinal fusion with Dr Hadi. He and his team have been caring, supportive and straight to the point from the very beginning.
My primary dr sent dr Hadi my mri and he said he could help, so scheduled a appointment see dr and he said couldn’t help in my book was a waste of my time , he did not address my concerns at all, said I had post concussion so I asked what could be done cause iam clueless about it, and his comment there is not a miracle pill for it , you should be over it in 6 months this guy is a joke no caring manners at all. I will get another opinion .
Dr Hadi recently performed surgery on my back. I was very please with him and his staff. Even at my 1st follow up appointment, they called me by my first name walking through the door. Thank Dr Hadi, Kim, and your team 💪🏻
Dr.Hadi doesn't care to talk to patients, couldn't even be familiar with my chart prior to coming in for my appointment. Did not explain post OP recovery. Can't reach him other than 1 day a week since he is in OR 4 days a week. I only had 1 fractured vertebrae in my neck with no spinal cord involvement but somehow I came out with 5 vertebrae fused together. It's been 3 months since my surgery and I still can't get physical therapy ordered. I am 36yrs old and have been a critical care nurse for 16 years. He never told me I wouldn't be able to do my job again and would need to file for disability! Please go anywhere else other than Mercy south (old St. Anthony's)!
Great Dr. no BS straight to the point. I was not able to walk at all for 2 months, after his intervention I WALKED out of the hospital. Thanks doc. Also his team, special shout out to Connie who helped me with so much paperwork and was soooo helpful. 7 months after and going strong.
Excellent care and communication. Outstanding surgeon 2 months post-op.
I gave a 2 because of nurse and office staff. Otherwise would be 0-1. Office staff very helpful and friendly. Dr. Hadi was running an hour behind due to emergency surgery and this was fine, it happens. I did expect it to be late but to get enough time with him. I think I ended up getting about 5 minutes from him after waiting over an hour and then he just dismissed me saying he could not help me. I expected him to go over my symptoms and MRI images with me to show me what was going on. I have examined my MRI images myself along with posting them on several expert forums and everybody said that there is severe stenosis that could be causing all of my symptoms. Oh and I actually had surgery with him in 2014. He did not remember of course, but he was trying to get his practice going and I was good enough for him then, but not now. I have been in agony, unable to work for 2 months due to progressive symptoms including dizziness, numbness in head and face, tingling and pain in shoulders, arms, fingers, and severe leg spasticity, weakness, numbness. All symptoms that could be from spinal cord compression since all else has been ruled out. He said no problems. Did reflex test, Hoffman sign, no babinsky, did not examine me really or look at my gait. It would show an abnormal gate and off balance. These symptoms progressing along with bladder issues. Did not really allow me to go over all my symptoms. He just saw what he wanted from scan or report, not even sure he looked at scans. I have gone over them and it is obvious that the disc bulges along with some issues on the Ligamentum Flavum on the posterior side are crushing the spinal cord. There is barely any CSF fluid for spinal cord to go through. Any reasonable Dr. could see that this could be causing my issues if they took the time to really look. Also, it is not positional so obviously if I turned my head any way or slept wrong, the compression could increase since there is really no room to roam. I have had 3 consults from surgeons online, all said that they would do surgery, either fusion or disc replacement. Cant quite understand why 3 reputable surgeons would do surgery, but he would not consider it. Believe me I dont want surgery, but I have no quality of life and I know this is the reason. So in summary, really don't waste your time with him. He really does not seem to care about what is going on with the patient, just if he can make some money and I guess I was not profitable enough. Dr. Young in the practice seems to be good. He did my father's surgery with exact same issue as mine and turned out great.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
