Dr Kozower told me that he would take very good care of me during my lung cancer removal at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis mo. I can say say enough good about this dr. Minimally invasive surgery was fantastic with a minimum of pain. I had a 3-4 day hospital stay that was as far as I am concerned that was 2nd to none. They have a wonderful very caring staff and took very wonderful caring care of me during my stay. I personally would want to choose Kozower and Barnes nursing staff again if any reason arises for any reason.

Dr. Kozower was recommended to me by another surgeon at Barnes. He is very kind, tales his time with his patients and as far as I go, I've been a difficult case, he has been very careful with me and has done everything in his power to make me better!

Dr. Kozower exudes confidence as he explains what he can do to help your condition. I am Stage 3 non-small cell squamous lung cancer and the surgeon in my city said there was nothing he could do, I was too old (64), etc. The pulmnologist I went to forgot to relay the early lung cancer results for a year so I was already in a distrustful state. Dr. Kozower gave me hope and performed the surgery and I had a surprisingly rapid recovery. Plus he was always cheerful and friendly. Bless him.

Dr. Kozower is knowledgeable about esophageal diseases and takes the time to work with his patients. His nurse(s) and enter staff are wonderful.
