Dr. Sleckman is an excellent oncologist, who, when I was hospitalized during breast cancer chemotherapy, made a point of coming to see me while hospitalized even though they have physicians who handle your care while in the hospital. She answers questions thoroughly and cares about your treatment and reaction.

I found Dr. Sleckman very nice, easy to talk too and didn't mind explaining any of my questions. My doctor left the area and I had to find a new doctor. Dr. Sleckman was recommended by a relative also under her care and I have been very happy about her care and feel she is very concerned with my health.

It took a visit or two before I warmed up to her. She is quiet and might seem uncaring but I find now that she is caring.. She allows me a say in my care and willing to listen to my concerns. I don't feel rushed when there.
