I found Dr. Molina to be less than caring. At my 6 month follow up, I had questions about my pain and issues that I was having. Dr. Molina was more interested in getting in and out, instead of taking the time to explain anything to me. He needs a course in how to listen to his patients. Very disappointed with Dr. Molina.

I came to Dr. Molina after a failed cervical laminoplasty which resulted in spinal stenosis and myelopathy. I had lost the ability to walk almost completely. I was nervous about going through another procedure, Dr. Molina performed a C4-C7 cervical discectomy and fusion and posterior C2-T4 fusion with a C3-C7 decompression. I am now two months postoperative and feel great. I have regained my ability to walk and my pain is gone. Dr. Molina gave me my life back. He is very thorough, detailed and straightforward with you. He spends as much time as needed with you and makes sure all of your questions are answered. His follow up appointments have been amazing as well. He is a surgeon who cares. I can't say enough wonderful things about him after the previous surgeon I had.

Very good at explaining what is wrong and what he will do during surgery. Done a excellant job. Follow up was excellant and listened to my questions and replyed to my satifaction.

Dr Molina performed a spinal tumor resection for a schwannoma that was literally paralyzing me. It was located in my spinal canal. My experience was as good as it gets. I am now back to riding my bike and hiking. Thank you Dr. Molina for giving me my life back.

Have been having odd shoulder, neck, arm, hands, skull issues for awhile which went into extremes during a house move I made in July 2021. After much ado, finally got an MRI which showed severe stenosis in my neck and got referred to Dr. Molina. First of all I was shocked at how young he was, but secondly how personable and thorough he was despite his age. My symptoms are complicated and he took a really useful approach deciding he/I needed more info (besides the tests, MRI and XRay) so off to Physical Therapy then an EMG then Pain Management I went. Frankly, I hated every second of it, but he knew what he was doing. Lots of subsequent discovery with improvement and with an injection to neck scheduled vs any surgery. Meaning, Dr. Molina won't rush you into surgery if you don't need it and that, my friends, is exactly the kind of neurosurgeon we all need!! I recommend him. He's a breath of fresh air in this rarified system.

I was referred to Dr. Molina from a NP Julie Coenen with Dr Santiago, Neurosurgeon. I met with Dr.Molina on 12/4. I felt he was very attentive to my severe pain I was in since August. Due to the pandemic, I felt I could not be scheduled for any surgery, since it was considered elective. Dr. Molina looked me straight in the eye and said when would you like surgery? I could not believe what I was hearing. I felt so fortunate and grateful I was finally going to get relief of the pain running down my legs for almost 5 months. Surgery was scheduled the 23rd of Dec. BEST thing I received in 2020! I am 1 week away from having my surgery, and I feel like I have my life back "Pain Free". I want to Thank Dr. Molina and his NP Irma, for everything they did and done to give me quality of life back. I have told family and friends I couldn't of asked for a better team, than what I had at WashU. I filled with gratitude! Thank You all! Cindy Hunter

Dr Molina did my back surgery, Minimally invasive.....excellent job, very personable. A new star at BJC.......He is an expert and lead developer in novel robotic and augmented reality spine surgery. I was a tough customer, and I recommend him whole heartedly.....he is the new kid on the block, but represents the new future in spinal surgery techniques.
