I called the reception center and the person, who sounded as if she was working from home, was gruff. She was annoyed when she didn't quite get my insurance ID number correct and I had to repeat myself. While doing that she hung up on me. I called back and got a much nicer person. She didn't however apologize for the other staff member and seemed to think that was normal behavior for her co-worker. Also, the appointment for a somewhat serious issue was made for 5 months from now. I called another office with a physician of similar background and reviews and was able to get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe.

One of the most thorough dermatologists I have met. Dr. Coughlin always has time to talk with the patient and/or their families. I cannot say enough good things about her. If you are looking for a dermatologist, look no more! Call today and set it up

We saw Dr. Coughlin to evaluate a port wine stain birthmark on our 4 month old. She was running behind some things felt a little rushed. However, Dr. Coughlin was kind, thorough, and not pushy. I appreciated the fact that she provided information on possible treatment approaches but did not push.

Dr. Coughlin & her crew are excellent. She's thorough, compassionate, and informative. She does a great job of explaining the options available for treatment. I trust her to make intelligent decisions regarding our baby.

Dr. Coughlin and her team was excellent with my son. He had been seeing a doctor at a different facility where we were told to keep waiting his skin condition out. After 5 months, we were we extremely tired of waiting and feeling brushed off by our doctor. I made an appointment with Dr. Coughlin where we were taken care of. Our first appointment was excellent --- we were well taken care of from the moment we walked through the door. Dr. Coughlin called me the morning after our appointment to discuss some more thoughts she had about my son and the treatment she had in mind for him. From then on, I have spoken with her nurse, Barclay, several times and am thrilled that we are seeing results with the treatment they started after only 9 days!! I will recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatric dermatologist---our experience here has been wonderful!!
