Dr. Coln saved my daughter's life. He was kind, compassionate, and clearly a very skilled surgeon. Every doctor and nurse we talked to all said he was the best. We owe so much to Dr. Coln, NP Molly, and the rest his staff and will forever be grateful to him.

No longer with Mercy Hospital. Inappropriate physician behavior.

I have nothing but extraordinary things to say about Dr. Coln and his NP, Molly. Amazing bedside manner, excellent listeners, great with my son. My son was released from another hospital recently one evening (was told he was “borderline surgical”). The next morning was seen at his primary care office and by early afternoon, his appendix was removed by Dr. Coln (at another facility) and he was finally relieved of pain. So very grateful for all of their help in such a timely manner. All of the staff at the hospital made the experience for me, a scared momma, much more tolerable as well. They were very comforting. I highly recommend Dr. Coln.

Dr Cohn did surgery on my daughter (almost 8 years ago) and we couldn’t be more pleased. He made a painful situation for us parents a lot easier to deal with. Thanks for taking care of my baby Dr. Cohn.

Dr. Coln helped 3 members of our family correct deformities of pectus excavatum and carinatum. He is a talented, caring, and spiritual doctor.

Exhibits the values of Mercy! Wow! I was surprised / shocked when he asked if we wanted to pray before heading to the OR. Also his bed side manners were exceptional taking all the time needed to explain things and answer questions. Really appreciated his accommodations to squeeze in the surgery on relatively short notice. Dr. Coln is exceptional around all aspects of care including his level teducarion training and competency. One of the best!

Came in several times with my daughter after her surgery because it was not healing. Was told it will take more time because of the area. After seeing a wound specialist and another month of her wound still open and then developed a fever , I called the office only to be told the fever was not related. So I called pcp for help and after 2 months of the run around a culture and lab work was done by her pcp not the surgeon to find out she had STAFF!!! no wonder it did not heal. Will not be back!!

I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO PEOPLE. HE HAS HELPED ME GAIN BACK MY LIFE. BEFORE HAVING SURGERY I WAS ALWAYS TIRED AND NEVER HAD ENOUGH ENERGY TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE I GOT WINDED SO EASILY. I UNDER WENT 4 SURGERIES NOT INCLUDING THE FIRST ON I WENT THOUGH AT THE AGE OF 6 DONE BY A DIFFERENT DOCTOR (MY CASE WAS BAD) AND HE NEVER GAVE ME FALSE HOPE. HE TOLD ME WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS BEST FOR ME AND THEN GAVE ME THE CHOICE ON THE DIRECTION WE WOULD TAKE. AFTER SURGERY HE WAS ALWAYS PERSONALLY CHECKING ON ME TO MAKE SURE I WAS GETTING THE CARE I NEEDED. HIS OFFICE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND CARING (THEIR LIKE FAMILY) AND MY VISITS NEVER TOOK LONG. AND IF HE WANTED TESTING DONE HE TRIED TO GET IT ALL DONE IN THE SAME DAY SO I DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE SO MANY TRIPS. ALL IN ALL THIS MAN IS STELLAR AT WHAT HE DOES.
