Wasn't happy he didn't spend no more than a couple minutes with me and was gone ordered x-rays with no follow-up... Immediately wanted to put me in a brace. He didn't follow up on what he found and I had to check back myself to find out the results only to be told I need to come back again for another appointment. 💯 % not happy the way it all went about.

Dr. Dy performed two surgeries on my nerves in my leg, one year apart. The second surgery was supposed to help the nerve pain caused by the first surgery. Unfortunately he cut the nerve in the second surgery which not only didn't help, it made my pain worse! On follow up visits, he didn't know what to do with me and ultimately pawned me off on pain management. Two years later I still live in daily chronic pain and am forced to live on opioids which barely take the edge off. This man has completely ruined my life and had no regrets and was not apologetic at all. Again, I waited two years to write this review thinking things might get better but they haven't, I have no quality of life because of this horrible doctor. I felt I needed to let the general public know to be wary of him.

Dr. Dy is a super guy and an amazingly skilled surgeon. I cannot recommend him enough!! 10 out of 10!

He was nice, but I was disappointed when he completely dismissed the problem I came in for, nonchalantly stating its “not worth looking into further.” I value a doctor who is a bit proactive, not letting a problem get completely out of hand before investigating it. Considering this pain affects my work and daily life, I was just shocked to hear he didn’t care to look into it. Our total encounter time was maybe a bit over 5 minutes. I will be visiting another hand ortho.

Dr. Dy performed my ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release surgery. The entire experience and outcome could not have been better. Dr. Dy is patient, informative, and accessible. My recovery was measured in days and my symptoms (throbbing, activity-related numbness, etc.) were gone immediately. I'm sewing, knitting, gardening and playing pickleball without painful consequences. I couldn't be happier ...

Where to start...how about this...Dr Dy and his team gave me my life back...plain and simple. After numerous previous nerve surgeries left my arm in chronic pain and disfunction, I had almost given up getting any functional use of my right arm back. Unable to make peace with this outcome though, I began my search for a solution and found it in Dr Dy's Multidisciplinary Complex Nerve clinic. Dr Dy and his team are a breath of fresh air in how they thoughtfully and methodically approach your care. There is no rush to surgery here, or unilateral thinking, just a collaborative step by step approach with the patients end goal in mind. As a patient, you are treated as a member of their team in the planning and executing of that plan. The nerve clinic also partners with a fantastic physical therapy group that works in tandem with Dr Dy communicating, planning and making any necessary adjustments along the way. Seven months ago I had little use of my arm and now I am dreaming of my next career! I still have months of rehab yet but I can only say that if you are on the fence at all - hop off and run, don't walk, to meet Dr Dy and his team!

My daughter at 16 had fell and broke her hip. She was having horrible pain after hearing. Doctors at childrens mercy in Kansas City couldn’t figure anything out with her. They referred us to Dr Dy. He was amazing with her care and her surgery.
