Dr. Ahlering is a kind and compassionate doctor. He always takes plenty of times to explain any procedures and waits to see if I have any questions. He also helped me to deliver my second child, and it went so much better than my first delivery. There was a bit of drama with my son's birth, and I am so thankful he was there to make sure my baby and I were safe. He has also had to deliver bad news to me and has done so in a warm and caring way. I highly recommend Dr. Ahlering.

I will say I was hesitent on seeing a male doctor for my female visits. But oh my goodness Dr. Ahlering is AMAZING! Excellent doctor. Very attentive, amazing bedside manner and you can tell he truly cares about you.

21 years ago, Dr. Ahlering delivered my twin daughters and everything was excellent. It was a wonderful experience, handled with great care. The one reason for a 4 star review is because when we called in to the office to find out if our daughters were identical or fraternal, we were told that they had to be fraternal because they were in separate placental sacks. The reality is we just got a DNA test to verify and they are in fact identical.

Been seeing him 17yrs. He delivered my 2nd child. He is kind, courteous and compassionate. When I went for a routine ultrasound and discovered a blighted ovum he was amazing. He waited till my husband was able to get to his office and went over everything for my husband and put him in his place when downplayed it. He delivered my son within the same year (16 yrs ago) and was great throughout the entire pregnancy and delivery.

He is an amazing obstetrician. He went above and beyond. I am so thankful that he and his staff are so efficient and compassionate. I cannot recommend a better physician.

I've been with this practice for years and was switched to Dr. Ahlering after my first miscarriage. I found him helpful with my second, he performed my D&C successfully but I find him borderline insensitive. I was brought in for testing after a chemical pregnancy only to be told he didnt understand why I had an appt, they would only test after a 3rd "confirmed" pregnancy loss. Which I more so blame the staff for that miscommunication but i was disappointed since my situation is sensitive and frustrating on its own.

Dr Chris is AMAZING! he delivered both of my children ages 17 & 19. I had very high risk pregnancies and he stayed on top of them. I have since moved an hour and a half away but I still make the drive to St Louis to see him. The staff has always been great! I highly recommend him !

My overall experience was great. I never felt rushed with the doctor or the nurses. The receptionist was great and helped me understand something on the forms. I was happy.

Was with him for 10 years. My pregnancy and birth was a horrible experience. He also said to me that he does not know anything about mental health for postpartum- I do not recommend.
