List of Clayton Cummings's Reviews
Brought my 1.5 year old son in to the Mobap Childrens ER with pain in his leg after slipping and falling at the Magic House. We thought it was his ankle but weren’t sure. Dr. Cummings ordered an x-ray of the ankle without even seeing or examining my son. The x-ray came back clear, and Dr. Cummings finally came in to see us. We told him repeatedly that we weren’t sure what was going on, but knew there was something wrong as our son has never cried like this and clearly could not walk on his leg (which we demonstrated for him, even though it obviously caused my son severe pain). He dismissed our concerns, making me feel like an overreacting mother, and told us “I can wrap his ankle if it would make you feel better.” We were not given any information on following up. Two days later, my son still in severe pain, our pediatrician sent us to the orthopedics office at Children’s Hospital. It took the nurse practitioner there less than 5 minutes to do an exam and find that it was not his ankle that was the problem at all. She ordered an x-ray of his entire leg to find that his femur was broken. Needless to say, we were shocked and felt terrible for putting him through two extra days of such terrible pain. Dr. Cummings not only seriously misdiagnosed our son, but did not listen to us as parents or treat our child in a developmentally appropriate manner. I would not recommend him to anyone and would request another doctor if I ever crossed paths with him again.
Dr. Cummings was very wonderful and caring. He paid attention to all of my son's needs. Plus he is single and very cute:)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
