List of Daniel J. Maestas's Reviews
Excellent physician and an even better person.
Dr. Maestas has been my doctor since birth practically! He is always caring, takes his time in explaining things, and listens to your concerns. I also want to add that you may wait for an hour to see him....but just know he will give you that same amount of time if you need it. I don't mind waiting to be seen when I know that my doctor will actually see ME and not just a chart.
Dr. Maestas is the best doctor ever! I can't speak for the staff, but I can definitely say that Dr. Maestas is always on point! He listens and he genuinely cares. That's what he does for me. Now, Lisa is pretty good bcuz she seems like she minds her own business. She's cool 😎; but the rest of the staff, much is desired for them. Ijs.🤷🏽♀️
Dr. Maestas is truly a dedicated concerned conscious courteouos respectul qualified Doctor. He displays and promotes a family friendly trust with your health. He calculates math and science to figure out the best solution for your health condition, he is not out for your money. Dr. Maestas incorporates bed side manner along with professionalism and he is deeply concerned about you as an individual and his patient. I am very appreciative, thankful and grateful to have him as my Doctor, he assisted me through rough challenges by quality care, knowledgeable preventive & aftercare healthcare proved successful to my benefit and my family. Thank you Dr. Maestas you are truly a great unique Doctor and many can learn from your high requard of Professionalism in Ethics, People & Communication Skills and matured wisdom and knowledge of Family Medicine. Dr. Maestas has mastered the art of healing. His staff and administrative personnel performance is very professional and friendly .
I have always been satisfied with the service, I have received from Dr Maestas and his staff. My previous PC Physician past away, and I thought I would never find another Physician like him, but I did. Dr Maestas is exactly like Dr Belancourt. A Great Physician.
Dr. Maestes is the best doctor I've ever had, and I've unfortunately seen too many in my life. He really listens and communicates with you. Most doctors talk at you, most while typing away and obviously half listening at best. He's always caring. After seeing multiple highly revered and sought after specialists and surgeons, he was the one to finally order and fight my insurance to cover the test that revealed a missed neck fracture after almost 2.5 years of every treatment under the sun. The other tests didn't show what other doctors thought they should see, so they were dismissive, even though I was telling them everything they needed. Only Dr I trust without question to manage my fairly long list of health needs His staff could use some work. Most are rude and seem to be bothered by your presence But, Dr. Maestes is really accessible by email on mymercy and always responds personally. When I need something I bypass the staff and use that great tool. Thanks Dr Maestes for being one of the few truly great physicians!!
Dr. Maestas is a very popular doctor because he takes his time with each and every patient. When I come out of his office I know he heard me. He will not rush you. So waiting patients will wait for him as they know they will enjoy his bed side manner.
Great doctor... like a doctor should be. Listen, listen, listen. Big rooms for quads in power chairs.
Although my Mom had been a patient for Dr. Maestas, why come the medical professionals don't check more for lung cancer. Because my Mom came down with stage 4 Lung cancer without any symptom. I just want to know why the medical or insurance doesn't allow at least twice a year for CT scan this way they can catch the cancer quicker or either a body scan. Shouldn't no family should have to keep going through the stage 4 cancer because of lack of testing. These test should be given twice a year and if the insurance doesn't want to pay I would be willing to pay my own. All I have bee hearing people are dying prematurely from stomach, colon, prostat5e, pancreatic, brain and lung cancers at a higher rate because not enough testing. Although my Mom went to her appt. every 3 months but this isn't enough to catch the cancer. Sadly I lost my Mom to these disease this year from lung cancer. Also, what is the protocol for our elderly when they are diagnose with cancer and the doctors does a biospy which causes the individual to lose usage of their arm and hand. The medical professionals need to push more prevention instead of pushing drugs that has so many side effects.
I tried to find a contact page as I prefer not to leave reviews like this whenever possible. But I thought this doctor should have the opportunity to know the manner with which his staff is representing him. Honestly, I can't speak to the care of this doctor because unfortunately I will not become a patient here due to my initial treatment. When I attempted to make an appointment, the representative I spoke to was rude, taciturn, and seemed rather annoyed that I had even dared to interrupt her day by calling in. Well please rest assured that I won't be calling back. For the sake of your existing patients, I sincerely hope this exchange does not reflect the professionalism or courtesy of the practice as a whole, nor the person to whom I spoke. As someone who has worked in the medical profession, I understand how hard it can be to get negative reviews. But I thought the members of your practice deserved to know the kind of treatment potential patients are subject to, "courtesy" of the people hired to represent you on the phone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
