Dr. Meiners did my gallbladder removal surgery recently. He was kind and compassionate and had a great bedside manner. He took his time to explain the procedure and was open to questions. I felt confident in his expertise. Would highly recommend him as a surgeon.

Fantastic bedside manner, fully explained procedure performed, spoke to my wife, answered all questions, and very timely in all aspects. He is backed up by an excellent staff and support group at Mercy Hospital in St Louis, which I think is excellent in its own right. A super star!

I had an abdominal hernia repair 8/31/17. Very quick efficient , he explained things . . the day of once the process began. . it was over in no time and NO PAIN whatsoever. My only concern is overdoing it because I feel great! Thank you Dr. Meiners and all of the Mercy staff!!! I do like the care at Mercy!!

I recently had to have my gallbladder removed. Dr. Meiners took the time in the initial visit to explain the entire process and listen to my concerns. He was very thorough. Dr. Meiners went over the steps again in the prep for surgery and was great to let the family know how the procedure went as soon as he finished. He followed up with me in post op twice to make sure I was doing ok and answer any questions before I was released. I would highly recommend Dr. Meiners for surgical procedures.

Dr Meiners is wonderful. He performed surgery on my thyroid and did a beautiful job. The stitches were small and hardly any scarring so far. I highly recommend him to anyone needing general surgery. He is fantastic

Dr. Meiners was very honest regarding my conditions and he prepared me for what to come next. He always called me with any test result personally. He was very compassionate and caring. He came by several times at the hospital to check up on my progress. This was my first surgery but he made me comfortable with the decision that I made. I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery.
