Dr. Amarnek is dangerous! He is not a good doctor he makes mistakes and can’t correct them. Run while you still can!!
Extremely rude. No bedside manor.
Dr Amarnek is dangerous! He has ruined my friends foot and found out he’s done it to many others. He should never cut on another person!!
Dr david l armernek is a butcher and a Quack. I went to him in 2016 for an ankle pain after an mri he told me that i needed surgery on my ankle so on January of 2017 i had a surgery they in December it started to hurt again.so i 2018 went back to him im march and after an mri he told me i mest it up again . so in march i had another surgery on it. So in December i went back to him again and he told me i needed a fusion and the pain would stop so he and Dr zobins did a fusion on it in January2019. So in January of 2020 i step down and it pop and the fusion broke so dr zobins told me to go to Dr barth with the next step foot & ankle center on mattise rd and he told me that dr amarnek messed it up so after 7 and a half hr surgery and lost 1/4 inch of my leg and an external fixation it was done right . so DONT GO TO HIM . I hope he loses his license. Thank you. Tim w
Couldn't be more pleased with my visit. Was comfortable with him and he was very thorough.
Run while you still can Dr. David Armanek completely botched a simple bunion removal. The bone popped out of place on the first surgery so he went back in to do a revision. The second surgery turned out even worse my toes crossed and I was experiencing excruciating pain and I went back to him on several occasions trying to figure out why I was in so much pain. One day I was driving on the highway and my toes were completely crossed and locked up so I had to go to the ER. After an exam and X-rays I found out that my big toe was fractured something he had never informed me of after a recent MRI and X-rays. The ER doctor told me that I should get a second opinion. I went to Feet for Life and as soon as the doctor saw my X-rays he told me that I needed to contact an attorney immediately if I did not already have one because I had developed vascular necrosis and it had cut off the blood supply to my Big toe which made the bone die. I was referred to another podiatrist at Mid West Podiatry for yet another revision surgery that didn't work because the bone graph didn't take. So I had to undergo another bone graph that did not look too promising either. This has been an experience from hell. The only good thing that did Come from the situation is I didn’t have to pay for the first two surgeries. He wiped all Of my bills clean because he knew he botched my surgery.
Both my 95 year old father and I are patients of Dr Amarnek. He is kind and thorough and expert in his field. Dr Amarnek took time with us and knew exactly how to diagnose and treat. He took time to listen and we believe that there is no better place to take care of your ankle and foot needs!
I was impressed with Dr. Amarnek's knowledge and treatment of my foot problem. Neuromas are painful and make it difficult to walk. His treatment for it worked and I am pain free. Thank you Dr. Amarnek!
I had surgery on my right foot in September, 2016 to remove a bone spur. I kept going back to him because my foot never felt right. He kept telling me that everything was alright and that it could take up to a year to heal. I waited the year and then got a 2nd opinion with another Podiatrist. The new doctor was astounded. She couldn't figure out what Dr. Amarnek did, if anything. According to the new x-rays the joint with the bone spur was totally destroyed and the left side of the foot by the big toe was full of dead cartilage. I had to have more surgery to put my foot back together, including an artificial joint in the big toe and also to clean out the dead cartilage and original bone spur. Dr. Amarnek had ruined my life. I can no longer walk or run with comfort and I am still limping due to the damage the big toe sustained with his lack of cleaning out the original bone spur. Don't recommend him at all. Quack and Butcher come to my mind when I think of him.
I have been going to Dr. Amarnek for over 5 years and he is a great podiatrist! Very professional and caring. His assistants are wonderful as well!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
