Dr. Rubin is an amazing Doctor. She was actually a Godsend for me. I tried several doctors without satisfaction before being sent to her By my local Gastronologist. She is very patient, thorough, understanding and kind while leaving no stone unturned to help me which she did. I drive over 3 hours to see her because she is worth it.

Have seen Dr. Rubin for years for my ulcerative colitis and, ugh, resulting several colonoscopies. She is compassionate, thorough, competent, superbly well-informed about gastroenterology, skilled doing scopes, kind and patient. Feel lucky to be her patient.

Dr. Rubin is an outstanding doctor who has few equals. I have found that Dr. Rubin is a compassionate person who cares about all her patient's health and well being. DR RUBIN IS A VERY WARM AND CONCERNED PHYSICIAN. SHE PATIENTLY WILL DISCUSS YOUR SITUATION AND IS OPEN TO OTHER IDEAS, SHE GOES OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTA YOUR PROBLEM . SHE GOES OUT OF HER WAY TO BE AVAILABLE MMOST ANY TIME. SHE TRUELY HAS A HEART.

My experience over the last 12 years has been OUTSTANDING. She is a specialist in dealing with very complex, multifocal GI issues. She is in VERY high demand. There is sometimes a wait, but that is typically because she gives each patient AMPLE time to work together to truly evaluate each unique set of symptoms, develop an appropriate treatment plan, and fully address any concerns each patient has. When I was very sick, I was added to her schedule on short notice, and I’m sure that made the wait time longer for others. I ask before going in if she’s on schedule or behind, that way my expectations can be adjusted if necessary. Hang in there!

Dr. Rubin is one of the most helpful, thorough and compassionate doctors I have ever met. My GI issue was extremely difficult to diagnose and treat (she was the 8th doctor I went to for this issue), and she didn't give up on me. Yes, it took a long time to get an appointment (which isn't unusual for really good doctors), but she was worth the wait. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Rubin is a top researcher in her field, but has a terrible bedside manner and does not care for her patients well. My last appointment with her in 2010 I waited 2 AND A HALF HOURS. Then her assistant walks in the room and makes the comment "you seem agitated" Lady, if you had been waiting in a tiny ice cold room half naked for over two hours you would be "agitated" too! And it takes minimum of 3 MONTHS to get an appointment in the first place. DO NOT go here!! The entire group is just a patient mill they see so many thousands of patients they do not care about any of them. Dr. C. Prakash Gyawali is the only exception. He took time to explain things to me after performing a colonoscopy. I saw Dr. Rubin for 6 years and not once did she ever perform colonoscopy...guess she doesnt do this procedure (???)
