List of Deborah Ducar's Reviews
It has been a long time since I visited Dr Ducar - I was a patient from about 2007 until 2011 before I moved to FL, but she is hands down the best Chiropractor that I have ever experienced. I had chronic back pain for years. The first chiropractor that I saw would spend 40 minutes, and we had to come back every week... sometimes more than once a week, until we lost our insurance. I was recommended to see Dr Ducar and the first visit was strange, I will not lie. It was 15-20 minutes, and it was not the standard adjusting of the bones, but it was moving the muscles about also. Initially I was more weirded out by the experience however by the second session my back pain that I had had for years was lesser than it was before. By the time my third visit was done my back pain was virtually gone. It stayed that way for many years, and the only issues I would go see her would be for a crooked neck or something between the shoulders due to sleeping funny or workout related. The one thing she said to me that shocked me (in a good way) was that if it didn't hurt, then to take care, but if I got hurt in the future, to come back in... no "come back once a week for the rest of your life" like all the other chiropractors that I have seen since (and before). It was incredible. Since then, I have tried to find a chiropractor that specializes in ART, however I have been unsuccessful and one of my biggest regrets leaving St Louis was not being able to find a chiropractor as great as her. Adjusting the muscles that pull the bones out of place was what helped me, and I am now in the pursuit of finding a new chiropractor to help me again as my back is hurting again. These reviews on here about the insurance issues... that is an insurance issue that you should be addressing with your insurance company. The office of the chiropractor does not have all your insurance details and are not able to provide 100% definitive billing until they have your information and connect with the insurance company for billing (and to be fair... insurance companies suck pretty bad and screw people financially). Anyways... Dr Ducar is awesome and she is missed.
Dr. Ducar is excellent. Always on time. Very effective treatments.
Dr. Ducar is an amazing professional in her field. I have seen her over the past 10 years as needed. When I go in, she quickly pinpoints my issue and how to solve it. She is efficient and always gives me good tips on exercises to sustain my progress. I highly recommend her.
SCAM!! At first visit they show you a paper telling you cost will be $80 which is not what you will actually pay. Then they ran my insurance and bill them over $230, leaving me to pay $123.
Dr. Ducar works out of a Mercy physical therapy office. The whole office team is great. Dr Ducar does great work to address the issue by isolating the muscles that are causing the back pain. Then using her fingers, she applies pressure to release the tense muscle and over time the muscle and bone issue get better. There isn't any "cracking" or "popping". Mostly just stretching. I highly recommend. The visits are about 15 minutes and that is really all that is needed. You aren't hooked up to a roller machine, etc. A very efficient and effective approach.
I've had a great experience with Dr. Ducar and the office. I go on an as needed basis, it's effective and there's not the pressure to return each week like other chiropractors. I've also not had any issues with my insurance or the billing.
I came to her office with pain in my neck. She worked on my neck, but she found the problem was associated with my shoulder. She diagnosed the source of my pain accurately and quickly and brought immediate relief for the pain I was experiencing. She is amazing. I am extremely happy with the service she provides to her patients.
Smart, listens well, great at figuring out what is needed to ease pain, kind, and gets you back to normal quickly.
BE AWARE!!! First visit they contact my insurance for coverage and even gave me a paper with that information. A month later I got a bill NOT honoring the information they gave me. Now they are saying that it's the insurance's fault. Not to mention that her visits are extremely short, like 15 minutes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
