Love this place !!! Great staff !! The doc got me figured out really quick! Love Robin too!! Great place !
Absolutely the best dermatologist! Took years and several doctors before finally going to Dr. Leonardi and finding someone who treated the disease and not the symptoms. Patient, knowledgeable, and accessible. I could always call with questions and he'd always return my calls. And, when I moved to Florida my new doctor told me he knew Dr. Leonardi was the best in the country and stuck with the protocol he set. Just wish my insurance company would keep up and allow for my treatment.
Rude and condescending. Made me pass medical information to my primary doctor instead of him doing it. Not much of a doctor is my opinion.
Horrible experience. I have had a couple lesions for the past year and finally worked up the courage to see a dermatologist. Being that skin cancer runs in my family ( my sister had stage 4 at 20 yrs old and countless family members)... I was a bit worried for obvious reasons. The nurse chatted with me in the room for a couple minutes ( actually listened to what I was saying and answering my questions, thankfully ) It came time for me to get undressed.. no sooner than 2 seconds after walking out of the room ( I had my shirt off at this point and was in my bra ) Dr. Leonardi BARGES in WITHOUT knocking and stands there staring at me with no sense of urgency to close the door...I finally had to tell him "It'll be a few minutes" then he SLOWLY closed the door with an extremely creepy look on his face. He didn't even APOLOGIZE when he came back in the room. And ^^^DITTO to all the bad reviews above about everything else. I could go on and on.... Horrible bedside manor and RUDE! Also burned me about 3x the size of the lesion and I had to have the nurse come back in and burn it again! I'm sure I'll need another treatment do REDO to his SLOPPY practice and WON'T be going back there!!!! ZERO STARS AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I had a very bad experience at Dr. Leonardi's office. During a simple mole removal procedure, I felt pain because I was not numbed well enough. Then, he did a very poor job closing the incision. He initially stapled the incision and then glued the incision. I now have a thick three inch scar on my abdomen. In addition, every time I went in to see him, I felt like I was being rushed out.

I call him the skin guru. We’ve been everywhere for psoriasis and he is THE BEST
I have been coming here for over 20 years. I would still be the shy introverted person I was when I first came here if it wasn't for Doc and his staff! They hold a special place in my heart! I came covered in psoriasis. Many years going to SLU with no good results. They referred me to him and I am so glad they did! I have been in good treatments with 100% results for years!
Wonderful doctor! Uses cutting edge medicine to treat psoriasis and stays on top of new medicines as they are being developed. He's one of the best dermatologists in the greater St. Louis area. I've been seeing him for well over a decade and I have always been treated kindly by Dr. Leonardi and his team.
Dr Leonardi saved us. My daughter had a rash of some kind on her ankle. After seeing a family physian twice and Dr. Shamberg in Illinois 4 times, they prescribed creams to no avail and said they didn't know what it was. The next thing Dr Shamberg wanted to do was stick my daughter 99 times to check for allergies. That's when I sent her to Dr. Leonardi who scraped it looked under a microscope (which Dr Shamberg had also done) he had the answer in a matter of minutes - the most common fungal infection. How did a dermatologist not know that?. He prescribed my daughter medicine and it was gone in a week!! After her having it for 4 months! He is amazing! Yes he might be lacking in people skills but most super intelligent proficient people are - ex: Sheldon, Etc😊😊

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
