Dr. Everett is an extremely knowledgeable, concerned, approachable and personable doctor. I feel very fortunate to have her as my neurologist and consider her an integral part of my care team.

I moved to St Louis specifically to seek the care of a WashU neurologist. I met Dr. Everett last year and I can honestly say that my move wasn't in vain. She's been exceedingly helpful in more ways than just my neurological care. She's taken the time to ensure my understanding, research the latest protocol and methodologies as well and make sure that I felt cared for. I've come to realize that neurological care is about finding the doctor you connect with, treats you with humanity and dignity while researching the best way to treat your condition. It isn't always about having an answer but sometimes about having faith in the patient when they don't themselves and also that the condition isn't the person. Neurological conditions are so tough on a person so finding a doctor that you connect with is absolutely critical. I've found all of these things with Dr. Everett. She's responsive, concerned and involved in my care. Also, her nurse, Nurse Austin - she's really amazing. If you land yourself in Dr. Everett's care, you've found yourself with one of the best.

I was talked down to during the appointment, treated like an addict (I've never misused my medications in the years I've been on them), was told "you've been on everything so I guess methadone." I've been on THREE pain meds. I have autoimmune diseases and a genetic disorder that just causes pain. She was ableist. So if you're looking for an ableist doctor who simply wants you to do therapy with her, and to treat you like an addict, this is the doctor for you! Literally every stereotype all of us with genetic illness have to deal with, all wrapped into one. It was the playing with my life for me.
