(March 2022 pediatric eye procedure) The doctor and his staff were nice. There were no complications during the surgery. They made us understand what the procedure involved and the risks. However, when we got the bill (a separate bill solely for the doctor's time) we discovered that Dr. Lueder charges nineteen thousand dollars per hour for his time. We were given no warning. We are still waiting to find out if the surgery was successful or if the condition will regress.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Lueder for over a year and a half now. He is first and foremost great with her. He chats with her, is patient with her, even snuggled with her when she wanted him to hold her. He answers all of our questions, even the seemingly silly ones, thoroughly. We have never felt rushed with him, or belittled by him. As for her care, we are very satisfied with how things are going. We love St. Louis Children's, and Dr. Lueder is one of the many specialists there that have caused that appreciation to grow each time we're there.

My husband and I were more than impressed with Dr. Lueder and the care him and his staff provided for our 2 month old daughter. His expertise potentially saved our daughter’s eye, and we really appreciated his bedside manner. We feel very fortunate to have received care from Dr. Lueder.
