I was there to discuss an ablation. He continued to pressure me about taking a covid vaccine, which I made clear that I did not want . He said that if I didn’t trust him about the vaccine, I shouldn’t trust him to do my surgery. I don’t trust him to do my surgery after he prescribed Propafenone Hydrochloride, extended release. Asthma may affect the use of this medication, which I have. It is not to be taken with a medication that I take, caution is recommended if you take this and have a pacemaker (which I have), patient should be monitored while taking this medication (I was not going to be monitored). I don’t trust his judgment and I don’t like him pushing something that I wasn’t even there to see him about. Therefore, he will NOT be doing my procedure.

Dr Jose Mauricio Sanchez , MD is one of the finest cardiologists and doctors I've ever met. I've had numerous issues in the past years with afib and my heart well Dr Sanchez just performed the " Watchman " device procedure on me because I had a major bleed and needed an alternative to blood thinners. I am grateful to Dr Sanchez for giving me a choice to be able to go off these blood thinners and not have to worry so much about the blood clotting now with this new device implanted. All the heart doctors at the Heart health Center are wonderful and I highly recommend them.
