List of Jason Rabenold's Reviews
I had surgery on my left shoulder due to a motor vehicle accident which tore my left rotator cuff. Dr Rabenold was recommended to me and subsequently completed the surgery. I’ve had surgeries in the past and was in severe pain at times post surgery. Therefore I was worried I’d encounter the same post surgery pain, especially hearing horror stories on shoulder surgery rehab. Post surgery, I followed Dr. Rabenold’s instructions and was waiting for severe pain to kick in, which never happened. My pain was minimal and rehab went great. Dr. Rabenold, his staff and the staff at Mercy Hospital were great. I’ve seen some negative reviews posted by others regarding Dr. Rabenold’s bed side manner etc. they’re wrong! I feel I gained a friend during the post surgery visits. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rabenold to anyone seeking similar care.Ken Mc.

Today was my first visit. I am in love already. The whole experience today was professional and thorough. All my questions were answered. He spent all the time I needed with me. I will be having surgery soon and I feel very confident.
Saw him once. Didn't even touch my L shoulder. Said I don't need surgery. Ordered cortisone shot. He was out the door. Nurse gave me the shot. Good bye. I called office later that day. I had been in excruciating pain from the shot which apparently wasn't put in the right spot. Nurse said it's OK, take some Advil. I consulted a Nurse friend who gave me instructions on how much Advil I could take to relieve the pain. My problem got worse, had to see Dr. again for surgery consult. Yes, I needed arthroscopy. He was out the door. Nurse had me buy the sling right then (insurance does cover). Office calls me later that day to schedule it. Kind of a rush job! Can I think about it? He has no personality, no bedside manner, too busy to see me, didn't touch the affected arm, does he care about his patients? He will NOT be performing arthroscopy on my arm. Learn how to talk to patients and get a personality.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
