My visits with Dr. VanGundy are always a pleasure. I feel very lucky to have him for my Dr. He takes the time needed to explain any questions I may have. Dr. Vangundy’s personality is such that I almost look forward to a Dr. Visit!

Dr. Snyder is a conscientious and capable surgeon. With his General and Trauma surgery backgrounds he is able to approach complicated situations thoughtfully. He is not only skillful but also personable. I found him very enjoyable to talk to. He did not rush me and was willing to answer all of my questions. He is approachable and invested in good outcomes for his patients. I saw him for a fairly complicated chronic condition and he came up with a great solution. I just had my surgery and I'm doing well. Everything went exactly as expected. There were a few course changes along the way which he explained in a timely manner and made sure I was okay with before he proceeded. He stayed on task with me post-op and made sure I was doing well. I recommend Dr. Snyder without reservation. He took really great care of me while at the same time being personable and engaging. I think that is relatively rare in a surgeon of his caliber.

I have been going to Dr. Vangundy for years, since 2012 and I would never go to anyone else!! Hands down he is the Best Doctor in the area. He cares, doesn’t rush you and listens while answering all of your questions! He is very thorough while always taking the best care of his patients!! I always say if I have to move away, I will drive back to see him. He is the BEST!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Vangundy for about 10 years and have the very highest regard for him. I find him to be both medically very competent but also with an excellent "bed side manner". He has a very good demeanor and makes me feel comfortable when I am in his care.

I have been a patient since 2004. Dr. VanGundy is an exceptional doctor and very detailed oriented. I have had some rare diagnoses and not ever once has he not heard of it. His passion for healing and Faith keep me going back every time!

I think i have the best doctor in the whole wide world! He cares about his patients and their needs and thats a big plus to me! I live in the city and i drive all the way out to Lake St.louis for care and yes it is worth the drive i wouldnt trade him for no other!
