Dr. Metzler and his staff fulfilled my needs by clearly answering my questions. Dr. Metzler shared options regarding various treatments should I need them presently or in the future. He encouraged me to contact him if I had other needs.

This was my second appointment with him. What a great Dr. Caring and well trained in his craft. What a dream physician to have found. I had gone to another physician at Memorial and it was awful. Treatment was fine, success was less that needed. Same treatment first time with Dr. Metzler and success was more than double. This treatment even better.

Most amazing orthopedic physician we have ever experienced. He has wonderful care, wonderful insight and is not surgery happy. He found my husband's cancer, also treated my son and 10 other friends. He gives exceptional service. THANK YOU DR. METZLER! Angela

After an hour and a half wait, I thought that he would at least spend some time asking about what was going on but he was in the room for 3 minutes max. Before he came in the room, his students came in and did an exam. They were fine but not the dr I paid to see.

First doctor to care about the pain and suffering I was enduring. Was ready to ask him to put me down like a dog, but with his pain management I'm doing fine.

I am sorry I spent my money and time on this doctor. Shopping on the internet and/or yellow pages would be more responsive and thorough. This doctor didn't even read the reports from various tests---so if you are seeing him, please be sure to get a copy of the outcome of your tests--don't rely upon him as he just didn't care to read all of the listed impressions. What a shame that WashU has this guy.
