We have been seeing Dr. Zempel for about 9 years. We live in KC but travel to St. Louis twice yearly because the level of care in this specialty (epilepsy) is much higher than we can receive in KC.

Dr. Zempel was our son's doctor when he was having seizures caused by a brain tumor, which was successfully removed at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He was the most patient, caring doctor we could have ever asked for and we highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of care! Thank-you, Dr. Zempel for helping our son get his life back!!

My son is seizure free, thanks to the fact that Dr. Zempel was able to correctly diagnose my son. He had been having seizures for 18 months before seeing Dr. Z and previous doctors had told us that we would probably need to institutionalize our son. That was 10 years ago. He just earned his Eagle Scout award, has been successfully employed and will graduate from HS next year.
