Dr. Margenthaler is fantastic, but the reconstructive surgeon to whom she referred me did a terrible job. Ask her to recommend anyone other than Marissa T. Despite revisions by another PS, I’m still suffering from what she did to me by inserting implants the size of torpedos (no, I did NOT want breasts larger than my pre surgical natural breasts) and the enormous pockets she created to insert them and didn’t anchor them so I was further stretched. I don’t know why she did this, but every surgeon who saw what she did was horrified by her lack of surgical skills. Dr. Margenthaler, yes. Marissa T, no !!!

My friend was treated by her for breast cancer and has only positive things to say. However, her great work was negatively affected by the reconstructive surgeon with whom she collaborated. Fantastic treatment by Dr. Margenthaler was marred by the disastrous reconstruction by Marissa T. If you are unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer, ask Dr. Margenthaler to recommend another reconstructive surgeon in order to avoid disastrous disfigurement. My friend has found a mercy doctor willing to attempt a revision of Marissa T’s disfigurement. Margenthaler is great in her respectful treatment of patients, in stark contrast to Marissa T’s nastiness and surgical ineptitude.

I couldn't have a better doctor as I begin my journey with breast cancer. After days of worry, I met with her and now feel hope. I'm thankful to have Dr. Margenthaler on my team of angles who will get me through this diagnosis.

I have been a patient of Julie's since 2014 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was with me through it all: the surgery, chemo, reconstruction and annual visits, which I continue to have. She is the very best at what she does and you won't meet a nicer, kinder person. I have and will continue to recommend her in the future.

Dr. Margenthaler was recommended to me by my gynecologist, who cited she was the city's absolute breast surgeon. I assumed she was talking about Dr. M's surgical skill. But what really won me over was her bedside manner. As many reviewers have posted, Dr. Margenthaler really cares. She is also very knowledgeable, patient, and calming. I can't recommend her enough. Her office staff is amazing as well. Always friendly and going above and beyond.

Dr Margenthaler is the best. She has a way of calming a stressful situation and you can tell she REALLY CARES. I appreciate her very professional staff for their help during a very hard time for me. I’m a nurse and I can say she is a TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONAL WITH A HUGE HEART!
