List of Kaori Sakurai's Reviews
Dr. Sakurai is super nice, thorough, smart, and all around the best Doctor I could have ever imagined.
First she cancelled my appointment, which took so long to make in the first place. Then she spent so little time with me, but ordered SO many unnecessary test. What a farce!!! Not going back...EVER
Dr. Sakurai is by far the best physician I have been to since I moved to St. Louis 15 years ago. She is empathetic, listens and is very thorough. I love the fact that she treats me with respect. There are, unfortunately, too many doctors that talk down to their patients. You will not get that treatment from this doctor. I have always felt very confident with her suggestions and decisions regarding my health, as we made those decisions together. She's one of the best!!
I would highly recommend Dr. Sakurai to any of my friends.
Very quick on the appt. too matter of fact. Don't see much compassion. Been going to her for 10 years. Really need to find a new Dr.
Dr Sakurai is great and I have been going to her for several years now. Don't try switching to her if you hate waiting though! I like her so much because she stops to actually talk to you and make sure she knows what's going on.. unfortunately, her appointments are booked every 15 minutes I believe. She spends way more than that in the room with you, which has led to me being seen almost 1.5 hours after my appointment time (and then she commented on my high blood pressure reading that day! Ha!)For the most part, her nurses and office staff are friendly and efficient. I'm starting to worry though because some of the new faces lately are rather loud and rude. When I went the other day the nurse checking me in preferred to continue her personal conversation by shouting to the nurse down the hall rather than actually talking to me. Hopefully that trend doesn't continue.
Dr. Sakurai has been my doctor for over 10 years. She has always taken the time to listen to my questions and concerns. She is very knowledgable, helpful and compassionate.
I have recommended Dr. Sakurai to many friends. Dr. Sakurai is caring and direct, takes the needed time to support you at staying/getting well.Dr. Sakurai has made several excellent referrals to me for other care and the people she sends me to are as good as she is. I was in the hospital after an ER visit and had barely been checked in and Dr. Sakurai was already there to take care of me. If I were an internist, I'd hope I was as good as Dr. Sakurai.
Not enough office visits to know how knowledgeable, but as a knowledgeable nurse I have only heard her say one factual thing I question as inaccurate. (It was minor, but when I looked it up later, I was right; maybe she misheard me.) She seems caring and attentive, but can be a bit dismissive if you ask something she deems irrelevant or uninformed. She's very young and that always is a big factor for positive or negative. Altogether pretty good and I have recommended her as smart and caring.
dr Sakurai is a very caring health maintainence provider. Her ability to relate to people is exceptionally good. Her recommendations to other specialists is remarkable, because every single one has been very very helpful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
