Katherine Glover Collins's Online Review Report Card

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and referred to her. I was told to not be late to my appointment so I showed up early, about a half hour. I was in the room earlier than my appointment. I waited a long time, about an hour and a half and an assistant came in to examine me. She told me I would probably need to have my breast removed. I was shocked. She left and I waited and waited. I had a friend with me and that helped. About 3 hours into the wait 3 ladies came in to tell me they were sorry,but doctor was consoling a patient. At about 4 hours into wait Dr Glover-Collins came in without an apology and got right to the business of my exam and consolt. She was very dry in her approach. She shared much data and information that she was very capable. I asked if she would advise her own mother whether to have a lumpectomy or masectomy. She said she could not advise only give facts. I left in a daze and got a general surgeon.

I feel so grateful that Dr. Glover-Collins is my surgical doctor. She is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is quiet, honest, brilliant, professional, and kind. At the beginning of my journey I wasn’t sure what to expect, however Dr. Glover-Collins has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for such excellent care of me and for being here throughout this journey. God bless you Dr. Glover-Collins, Nurse Stephanie, and your entire staff at the CAM Center and your North County Center as well.

Dr. Glover Collins and her team took excellent care of my loved one during a most difficult time in her life. Dr Glover-Collins (and her team) explained the diagnosis and treatment plan with specificity. They respected my loved one’s desire to make informed decisions which were appropriate for her. It was refreshing to see a healthcare team that collaborated well with their client in order to meet her holistic medical needs. Thank you!

On 2/11/2022 Dr. Glover Collins did a lymphectomy surgery on me and I give her 5 stars she was wonderful! And I highly recommend her. Thank you so much dr.glover Collins I hope God will continue to bless you.

Dr. Glover-Collins is dedicated to breast cancer oncology because she feels that women should have high quality care that comes from another woman. However, she is a surgeon--so she is frank, to the point, and down to business. This is what I wanted in a surgeon, but she was not the warm fuzzy doctor some people desire. I have since moved my follow-up care to my hometown, and my plastic surgeon brags about how diligent and thorough by myectomy surgeon was, removing as much breast tissue as possible to help ensure no return of disease. She is also a believer and woman of faith, which was important to me. The reason I did not give her 5 stars is she was not as quick as I would have liked with getting something scheduled. But with persistence and sweet-talking her scheduler, I got a surgery date I could live with.

Dr Collins is a gem to women. My mother and i both had surgical procedures by her and she was caring attentive patient and concerned. In this day of money making doctors she is truly dedicated and commended for taking of her patients. She is the best. Thank you Dr Collins for all you do. A million stars to you

Phenomenal! Can I please give more than 5 stars here?? 😆 Dr. Glover-Collins is so very caring, compassionate, warm, & friendly - all while maintaining a very professional demeanor. Everyone she has working with/for her in her office & at the hospital was the same level of WONDERFUL! My initial appointment and my surgery both went so smoothly & right on schedule, & I never felt lost, alone, or uninformed - or that anyone was simply "doing their job". If you're given the opportunity to choose who you will see when you need breast-related care &/or treatment, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Glover-Collins!

She is an amazing surgeon who is very honest in good and bad news for the patient, she was my surgeon for lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed, when I first met her I felt a little uneasy which is normal knowing this person will perform your surgery, I appreciate her being honest and although it seems scary, the reality is cancer is very scary, I must say she did an excellent job on my surgery, as I am feeling well and healing already and it’s not even been two days since my surgery. I would highly recommend her

The absolute best surgeon. I have had 2 separate operations with Dr. Glover-Collins, each time she has answered every question & made sure I was comfortable with our plan of action every step of the way. She is diligent & dedicated. I would recommend her to anyone. She is a true gift to those that need her.
