My wife and I went to see dr bridwell today and were both very impressed with him and his staff, his exam of my scoliosis was very thorough and genuine, I had X-rays before the appt with him and then he reviewed them with us giving us his honest thoughts and recommendations. He explained to us very clearly what I’m dealing with. We are so happy with dr bridwell and his staff and will continue seeing him. Our honest opinion and recommendation of him is clearly higher than 5 stars. Thank you dr bridwell and staff.

I'll start by saying I realize that Dr. Bridwell is extremely talented and knowledgeable in his field. I have been seeing him since I was probably 13 years old. My parents sought out "the best", and so as an adult I continued to make the drive out of state to follow up with him periodically. Just today I saw a different provider at Wash U in a different specialty which prompted me to get their patient ...

I had a scoliosis revision surgery 20 years ago with Dr. Bridwell. He is a fantastic surgeon. I wait every time I go, just like I do at every doctor who is thorough and reliable. If you want the best, you don't complain about the wait. Everyone seems to want drive-thru results. That's not how life works. You won't find a better surgeon. I am 58 years old now, with having scoliosis rods in my back since the age of 22. My revision surgery was at the age of 36. I still work full time and have very little achiness or pain. My daily life is not with a disability and that's a blessing due to having such an amazing doctor. Dr. Bridwell was great during my surgical time at Barnes and at every follow-up appointment I ever have gone to since. I will also say that his nurse has always been there for me to answer all of my questions along the way. She has also been a blessing in my life. I am thankful for everyone there.

My words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Bridwell for changing my life!!!! I had very severe scoliosis with curvature more than 80 degrees, constant pain, and spondylosis. Being only 40.... I was headed for wheelchair by the age of 50. After the surgery my curve was corrected by 50%, which changed my life and completely took my pain away! Dr. Bridwell is a doctor from God, and I will be forever grateful to him!!!

In 2001 Dr. Bridwell performed two operations on me, posterior and anterior fusions. I was sixty three at the time. Subsequently I have been able to live a normal active life and I credit Dr. Bridwell with almost twenty years of active life since the surgery.

I can still walk, and that is because of Dr. Bridwell. I'll be eternally grateful. However, I've had chronic pain since surgery and he always brushes it off as if it's in my head. Also, he used a technique and substance in the surgery that were questionable, then tested me for cancer and his nurse lied when I confronted her about it! He's a good surgeon, but not worth the trouble.

I had emergency surgery done in December 10th 2018. Thanks to Dr. Bridwell and his team I was walking again by the end of the month! I’ve never met the man awake but he fixed me, so I’m very grateful! And Dr Wagoner, on his team, has been very excellent and instructive. And his nurses have been exceptional!

I had severely progressing scoliosis, and five years ago Dr. Bridwell and his amazing team started taking excellent care of me. I would never consider allowing anyone else to touch my back, let alone perform any surgery. Thank you, Dr. Bridwell.

Dr. Bridwell is an excellent surgeon. He is thorough and careful. Before my back fusion, he ran every test to make sure my body could withstand the surgery. His aftercare in the hospital was excellent, as were the follow-up appointments I had. When my insurance wouldn’t cover a drug he wanted me to inject daily for two years, he and his staff helped me procure Forteo at no cost, for daily shots to strengthen the bone material. I went to Dr. Bridwell at the recommendation of two friends whose spines he had previously fused. Each operation was different and difficult, and in all of our cases, we were grateful to have Dr. Bridwell’s expertise.

Dr. Bridwell recommended spinal rods when others did not. Ultimately, I followed his advice and it was the most important and most positive health decision of my life. I will not end up facing the floor like my mother and I can participate almost fully in healthful activities. He combined analysis of my medical condition with a forecast for my personal future. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Although he's either shy or geeky or both. He keeps his words to an absolute minimum. When I felt numbed by his quietude, his staff were quick to tell me about the loss of his wife, raising his teen age daughter, and how his spinal textbook had been translated into many other languages. His staff obviously love him and that makes an outstanding epithet.
