Dr. Konzen is a wonderful doctor. His nurse practitioner leaves much to be desired though. Don’t attempt to express to her your concerns or reasons for your visit. She will evaluate and create a plan of action on your behalf, regardless of what you say, feel or do.

A small hospital near me took over a month running tests to figure out what was wrong with me, and eventually I got fed up and headed to see Dr. Konzen. Within minutes of him seeing me for the first time, he noticed a problem and scheduled a biopsy for me that exact same day. His initial prediction was spot on. I’ve trusted him with all of my medical issues in the years since, and plan to do so until he retires.

Dr. Konzen and his staff are great! Saw him in my hometown for years, til he moved across the river to Barnes. Followed him there and lost my COBRA and had to go only VA for 2 years. Medicare has me back to Doc Konzen again and I am happy again!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Konzen's sine he was in his first office. He was also my Mother's physician. He saw my Mom through some complex times later in her life and her care was outstanding. Fortunately, I have not had any major issues but feel confident I am in good hands. He is kind, compassionate and very up-to-date on newer issues. He will work with you on medication alternatives. In my view you can get no better. His core office staff (Melissa, Stacey and Mary) have been with him for years and are very competent.

I would highly recommend Dr. Konzen. He is kind, compassionate and an all around wonderful doctor. His assistant Melissa is great as well. I've been going to the practice for over 20 years and have been very happy.

Dr. Konzen has the worst initial visit practice. I scheduled a visit at 7 AM on a Monday way in advance. That morning I went into a bad medical reaction and was unconscious until 7:10 AM when I came to. I immediately tried to call his office and it was not staffed until 9 AM!!! I called later. Then, they charge me $185 for a missed visit and when I told them the situation Dr. Konzen refused to ...

When I moved to Saint Louis, I was nervous about finding a new doctor but was so thankful that I found Dr. Konzen. He is understanding and his staff is wonderful. They work hard to accommodate my schedule.
