Saved vision in my left eye damaged by macular degeneration! Woke up one day, and the central portion of vision in left eye was gone. Received injection (it did NOT hurt) at my first visit with Dr. Akduman, and vision improved dramatically and quickly. It still is. God bless Dr. Akduman.

I have no complaints about Dr Akduman’s surgery skill. However, his scheduling staff is horrible. My final surgery follow up visit was scheduled. However, before that date his office called me to reschedule my visit for a month later. Before then they called to change the visit time from morning to afternoon of the same day. When I got to the office on that day they said I missed my appointment time. That’s right, they left it at the morning hour on their books. Rescheduled again, another month later. Guess what, they called again to say it was changed to the 28th instead of the first week of the month. I showed up on the 28th only to have them to say it was scheduled for the 28th of the following month, not the current month. A week before that appointment I received yet another call to reschedule. I asked them why bother because the doctor obviously didn’t want to see me. If I have any other eye issues I will be seeing a different doctor.

In the waiting room today all the patients were talking about how great he is and how much he’s helped them. The medical assistants have told me how much they all like him. I’m so glad I was referred to him for my retina issues.

Everyone at his clinic is amazing and I am really happy that he reassured me that everything was going to be ok. I was nervous and worried that I could possibly lose my vision somehow. Thank you!!

I have been seeing him for a couple years. There are so few uveitis docs to choose from. He has no time for his patients. I always feel rushed. He is the 2rd uveitis doc I've had so I have some comparison. The other all moved away unfortunately. He does NOT listen to you. Dr. Akduman has performed my cataract surgeries and diabetic check ups with excellent professionalism. His appointment and test personnel are friendly and efficient.
