Dr. Blucher seemed extremely nice and professional. However, after my surgery and him confirming he changed his schedule so he would be in town afterwards, he simply immediately left and never spoke to me or my family about the surgery and I never saw him again. His associate, Dr. Cleveland, followed me in the hospital. It's been almost two weeks and he has never even called me or tried to contact me so I have no idea what he did or how everything went other than what Dr. Cleveland could see on the X-rays. I am going to find out what ethics board he reports to and tell them how he behaved, which was very unethical, unprofessional, irresponsible and inconsiderate of me and my family, especially since after the surgery things went horrible due to pain management and the epidural making my arm numb and then was later accidentally broken off.

Dr Blucher was great in pre-op visit in his office. Bedside manner was less than desired. His Post-op in the office was horrible. Completely disregarded my pain and concerns. He was very arrogant post-op. I guess once he operates, nobody cares anymore.

Dr. Blucher and his team saved my husbands life. My husband was rushed to Mercy and they found that his Aorta Dissected. Dr. Blucher did an amazing job and I am so thankful. He is very companionate and explained everything to me before and after the operation. He is very honest. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Blucher did a great job in explaining the procedure he was going to perform on me in simple terms and instilled in me a great deal of confidence in his abilities. Since then, I have had 4 people tell me he is the best in his field in St. Louis.
