OMG never go to this doctor ever because she will ruin your life. The doses she gave me were abysmal. This woman is a life destroyer. She deserves to lose her license and never get it back.

My daughter has struggled with anxiety and depression for years. No one could help her...until we found Dr. Serota. She is kind and understanding. She got my daughter on the correct combination of meds and my daughter is a different person. I finally have my happy, independent, and brave daughter back. She's beginning her Senior year and is preparing for college. We never thought this would happen...and it wouldn't have without Dr. Serota!

awful. super rushed, shes usually late and rushes the meeting as much as possible. shes dismissive, telling me that every concern i had was invalid, and that I am wrong about what I think is wrong with me. She treats me like a young child that doesnt know what they're talking about. i am not being medicated for my very obvious ADHD because she refuses to even test me for it, saying stimulants will make my depression and anxiety worse. she won't help you with your problems. the low stars don't lie

Dr Serota has been great with my daughter. She listened, asked the right questions and new right away how to help her. We have been seeing her for a year and a half and couldn't be happier.

dismissive. doesnt pay attention. i asked for a test for adhd and she told me she wouldnt even test me because she thinks that stimulants would just make things worse...I'd like an official diagnosis at least. frustrating to be dismissed like I don't know anything about my own mental health. wish i could get the help i need

Dr. Pearl Serinta is N O T your psychiatrist.are looking for a psychiatrist to listen to and support, provide help and advocate for your family and child. She does take time out to understand but ishe offers quick JUDGEMENTand SHAME. You leave her office feeling like you are not being supported as a parents and you are discouraged and defeated by her, when you actually camer for help and support. She doesn't offer empathy or support to parents. She is more focused on entering data into her computer than focusing on the clients during the appointment time. It's like she has to go down the check list in order, as according to her computer application to take psychiatrist notes., not leaving much for one on one, real time communicating to understand families or a child. I do not recommend her if you are looking for support.

Dr. Pearl Serinta does not listen to understand, but is quick to offer judgement and shame. You leave her office feeling as if you are a parent being scolded verses a parents seeking help for their child. She lacks on empathy, understanding and support. You do not feel as if you found a psychiatrist to support your family or your child for growth but instead feel as if you are walking on egg shells when you see her. She does act as advocate for the parents or child.
