List of Rajiv K Shah's Reviews
Dr. Shah is personable, but in my situation found him to be inadequate in my treatment. He was not my advocate, was not vested in my treatment and seemed rather indifferent to the level of severe pain I was experiencing. His time is divided between Siteman Cancer Center, Missouri Baptist Pain Management Center and Main Barnes, so attempting to make an expedient appointment while in pain is absurdly ...
It’s so much I want to say about this doctor and his office staff. I’m going to remain humble, because being nasty won’t help my situation. Anyone that’s looking for a caring, trustworthy, go the extra mile to help you heal doc, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I mean really do the research, don’t just accept a referral because those docs just helping each other. Save your time, money and a headache. The staff is too unfriendly and IMO he’s only there to distribute shots, run millions of test, identify the problem but no future plan to help you and if you don’t want anymore shots, he’ll dismiss you.
I have been a patient of Dr Shah for quite awhile. I have found him and his staff helpful, kind and very willing to take extra time to explain things thoroughly so I understand completely. I’m sorry he’s a specialist, I would gladly see him as my primary care doctor.
Dr. Shah has been my pain management physician for several years. I have always been very pleased with the attention I have received. He is smart, capable and has always listened to what I am experiencing and discussed my options with me. I feel very comfortable during sensitive procedures with Dr. Shah and the BJC nursing staff. I recommend.
I have been seeing Dr Shah for several years for pain management. He has been attentive, listened to my issues, explained my options and helped me make good pain management decisions. I find Dr. Shah and the BJC nursing staff to be capable, professional and I feel very comfortable with them as they perform sensitive procedures.
Stage IV cancer patient in incredible pain and all he did was belittle me and I left his office in tears. I told my oncologist what he said and my oncologist said he would treat me for pain so I never went back to Dr Shah. His bedside manner is the worst and I would not recommend Dr Shah to anyone.
Dr Shaw was arrogant and has poor demeanor with patients. He talks more about himself being from New York City, as if that is a special qualification. He doesn't listen to the patient at all. He doesn't believe that he needs to. Patients, however know their own body. he divulges inappropriate patient information in front of others, without hesitation and without apology. He is a poor physicians and I pity anyone who is assigned to him, as they will not let you change physicians. I don't see how he was employed at Washington University School of Medicine especially since he says that he does not trust the expertise of other physicians there.
Dr. Shah is arrogant and does not seem to care about the patient. He does not listen to the patient at all. Do not get assigned to this physician as they will not let you change. He acts as though he sees himself as God. I don't see how he was ever employed by Washington University School of Medicine with such average to mediocre credentials. He also does not stay in his professional zone, second guessing trained specialists in other medical fields with stronger credentials.
Dr. Shaw is arrogant and has a poor demeanor with patients. He was not accurate in his treatment, and speaks down to patients as if he sees himself as God. He cares little about how the patient feels, as he has a predetermined notion about what he is going to do. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Talks more about himself rather than listening to the patient. Discounts qualifications and ...
Never again! I do not recommend... Shah has a problem with his listening skills

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
