Dr. Handa is not only one of the rare doctors in this region who performs tricky ICD implantations and defibrillator/pacemaker lead replacements, he is also one of the nicest doctors I have ever known. A true gem. I owe my life and the quality of my life to this man, who has doubtless sacrificed a lot to acquire this level of extreme competence and professionalism.

I think the 2-star review is unfair. Yes, communication in modern medicine can be a challenge, especially when Dr. Handa must coordinate most things with a patient's primary cardiologist. Dr. Handa has a rare specialty and works at several locations. He is a very down-to-earth, extremely talented electro-cardiologist. I feel so lucky that he helped save my life after I suffered from deadly ventricular fibrillation

Doctor Honda is an amazing dr. He is very knowledgeable and explains things very well. I had surgery for a pacemaker defibrillator. Everything went smoothly and his office staff was excellent as well. He is also perform the same surgery on to other people in my family and he's just amazing.

After being misdiagnosed for approx. 45 years, Dr. Handa diagnosed, clearly explained and performed a procedure that has totally transformed my life. He is professional, courteous and thorough. I would recommend him for any and all procedures in his area of expertise.

I liked Dr. Handa however his staff never called me back after leaving a message with information from a portable heart monitor. I called at the end of the day and they had "all gone home". My feedback is that although this is normal run of the mill for you, it isn't for me.

Dr Handa is an extremely skilled and talented surgeon. I have had 2 surgeries done by him for a complicated pacemaker placement over the last 8 years. Dr Handa is very considerate of his patients feelings, he takes the time to explain and answer your questions. He is highly recommended and recognized by his peers. I absolutely think the world of Dr Handa and recommend him to anyone needing pacemaker placement, generator change, or lead extraction and placement.

I am 84 and have a weak heart. Dr. Handa had the skill and strength to replace and connect new leads through small and crooked veins. I have more stamina and strength thanks to Dr. Handa and his nurse, Jill, medical practioner Laurie, and Becky from Boston Scientific. All are caring and professional people..
