I am 70 yrs old with a pacemaker defibrillator I recently had 2 lead extractions, 2 leads replaced and a new generator. All was done by Dr. Handa. He was the one for me. He handles complex situations and I was in that category. I have had four battery replacements within a 16 year period. Dr. Handa explains conditions and answers all questions. Dr. Handa to me is a God send.

Dr. Handa is not only one of the rare doctors in this region who performs tricky ICD implantations and defibrillator/pacemaker lead replacements, he is also one of the nicest doctors I have ever known. A true gem. I owe my life and the quality of my life to this man, who has doubtless sacrificed a lot to acquire this level of extreme competence and professionalism.

I think the 2-star review is unfair. Yes, communication in modern medicine can be a challenge, especially when Dr. Handa must coordinate most things with a patient's primary cardiologist. Dr. Handa has a rare specialty and works at several locations. He is a very down-to-earth, extremely talented electro-cardiologist. I feel so lucky that he helped save my life after I suffered from deadly ventricular fibrillation

Doctor Honda is an amazing dr. He is very knowledgeable and explains things very well. I had surgery for a pacemaker defibrillator. Everything went smoothly and his office staff was excellent as well. He is also perform the same surgery on to other people in my family and he's just amazing.
