Roohi S. Desai's Online Review Report Card

Do not see Dr. Desai if you have any kind of actual problem or illness. Her gaslighting tactics and lack of caring could have killed me if I hadn't figured out what was wrong on my own. She told me for years that all of my ailments were due to weight gain. My husband is in nursing school and happened to have a lesson on the disease I'm now diagnosed with. The disease is called Cushing's and it is caused by a brain tumor that I had to have removed. I was a textbook Cushing's patient and she never bothered to try and figure it out. Once my HUSBAND figured out what I had, I had to demand she order an MRI for me so that I could get it sent to a specialist. It took her weeks to even call me about the results, which showed the tumor on my pituitary gland. Luckily I was 10 steps ahead of her and already sent them to my new doctors. This women literally just goes through the motions and makes zero actual effort to care for anyone. She just gets through her schedule of the day and doesn't really care what happens to any of them. I hope she's ashamed of herself but I doubt it.

She is intelligent and I trust her decision, however her and her staff are generally unwilling to help sign important papers regarding medical records for jobs and school. Better start a year in advance if you actually want papers signed because her staff fail to pass on the message to her in which case you will be chastised by all faculty for their failures.

Dr. Desai is my favorite doctor I have ever had. She and her nurse Karen have taken such good care of me over the years. I found out her nurse left the practice and I don't like the person who replaced her. Her old assistant payed attention to me and was very thorough. I hope she comes back.

Dr. Desai has become our family physician. Not only is she extremely attentive and thorough, she is so incredibly knowledgeable and her genuine desire to actually help her patients shines through in each visit. If you are searching for a new physician, I recommend Dr. Desai wholeheartedly.

I see the reviews about Dr. Roohi Desai. I wasn't that lucky. Looks like Dr.Desai, cares about her patients, but when I went to see Dr. Desai with my mom(97)years old as a new patient, Dr. Desai order lab test, and urine test. I didn't recived any calls from the office about those test, thinking that everything is fine, but after 10 days I recived a call from the dr. office, informed me that my mom has a bladder infection, and she needs antibiotic. she didn't recived the treatment, right away only after 10 days of the visit they called to me, and the order was send to the pharmacy, but it should be treat the infection right away. Dr. Roohi explanation was, she went on vacation, and no one from the office called The Medical Assistant and including Dr. has the responsibility to call the patient, tell the what was the resold of the test, and treat the patient with antibiotic. I will not say that the office including Dr. really cares, in my opinion, this is negligent toward the patient, I took my mom to Dr. Desai office, because was thinking that Dr. Desai cares and I trust her bringing my mom to her office, looks like I was wrong, and I'm very disappointed. This is a second time I has a problem with this Doctor's office.

Thorough and extremely patient and kind. She truly cares about her patients and provides excellent care.

Doctor Roohi Desai is really caring and does her best . She is very humble and sincere .She listens patiently and makes you feel comfortable.Before my appointment with her I visited 3 doctors and used 2 different antibiotics which did nit stop my acute sinus infection and additionally ear infaction .I suffered from headache severe earache and frequent fevers within 40 days . And only the antibiotics that she prescribed worked with the pains .She is the best!
