When I made appt I thought I would be seeing a Dr but I saw his NP. She said from looking at my X-rays she thought I had a calcium deposit because she saw a dark spot. She said the only way to be sure was to get an MRI. I said I wasn't sure I wanted to do that, I don't do well with MRIs. She said ok and gave me a cortisone injection to help with pain. She told me I had great knees. The cortisone shot wore off and naturally the pain returned. I decided to try another Dr who told me I have osteoarthritis and am almost bone on bone. So I logged into the patient portal for first Dr. The notes say osteoarthritis. The NP never mentioned osteoarthritis at all to me. So if the Dr read my X-rays later since I never saw him in the office and changed the notes and diagnosis it would have been nice to get a phone call informing me. I have no problem seeing a NP but a backup visit from the Dr would have been nice. I am so glad I switched Drs. UPDATE: Dr. Pitts: thank you so much for your reply asking for my contact information so we could discuss the situation. After sending twice and hearing nothing from you I assume assume you changed your mind. No need for another reply from you.

Great place ..had TNR .from Dr Ryan Pitts .He and Katie House are awesome. going for the second one in a couple months ..his Team is awesome and very caring..3 months out from the first one...

Wonderful experience. Took the time to explain the issues with my ACL, but was also to the point. Discussed all the options and helped me make a decision, which ultimately was to not operate (I’m 57 and don’t need to play sports). Not sure what’s wrong with the person below, maybe they didn’t listen to his explanation bc I would recommend Dr. Pitts to anyone with an ACL injury.

This was the worst doctor I have ever seen. He told me after two minutes of looking at my x-rays that he doesn’t operate on people my age I was early 60s with a blown out ACL torn meniscus and a fractured plateau on my tibia. What an arrogant doctor. I did find a wonderful doctor at wash U who did surgery and my knee is perfect!!! No issues!

Dr. Pitts did my ACL recon, and his nursing staff before and after surgery were absolutely amazing. I have acute anxiety and knew I was going to end up getting nervous, but the staff (and Dr. Pitts!) helped explain things exactly as I needed them explained and really was just incredible. I am only a few days post op and very pleasantly surprised with how well I’m already moving!

Dr. Pitts did a complete knee replacement for me on my right knee that could not have gone better. I was very motivated and followed all instructions he gave. I did amazing! In less than a month I was done with the walker and the cane and was walking and driving! I can go up and down steps normally now which I hadn't been able to for the last several years. Wish I hadn't waited so long to have the surgery! I have recommended him to family and friends with knee problems.

Dr Pitts didn't take the time to listen to me when I tried to explain the source of my injuries, he stopped me before I could finish and quickly made an assumption of what's wrong with my leg. I had to stop him from his way out of the room to explain to him additional details about my pain and discomfort. He didn't take the time to figure out what's causing the pain. I have had other doctors trying to reproduce the instance of the pain before in previous injuries but Dr Pitts didn't do any of that. All in all he spent about 3 minutes with me. When I asked him about my shoulder injury he said to come back another day for that because "we like to do one thing at a time around here". If the purpose of your practice is to give bad service and make a lot of money, you should be proud of Dr Pitts because he sent me to get an MRI and he's making good revenue for your Company. If the purpose is to provide health care and compassion, he definitely needs to be retrained.

Dr. Pitts did my total knee replacement and I have done amazing since the surgery! Only wish I had gotten the surgery earlier. I followed all of his recommendations before and after the surgery. In less than a month I was done with the walker and the cane and back to driving and doing quite a bit of walking.

Dr. Pitts was considerate and professional. The knee shots made a 100% difference so far. This is the first time my knees have been pain free in 8 years.
