List of Sarah Margaret Cole's Reviews
Had my annual physical exam, recently. Dr. Cole is highly in demand; and rightly so.
She is a "nice" doctor but doesn't work with you to find solutions. Never sent me to a specialist for chronic issues unless I asked. Most often I had to self-refer and get her permission. A doctor I was seen when I couldn't see her dismissed an issue. When I once again self-referred to a specialist I was able to get a diagnosis as well as a treatment plan. Unacceptable.
The best doctor! She is patient, caring, genuine, thorough and High Fives me whenever I loose weight, even if its a small amount she Roots for her patients. Very supportive! Thank you Dr. Cole
Very kind patient and caring. Takes the time to listen and does not prescribe a pill for every issue. Love her.
Dr. Sarah Cole is one of the best doctors I've ever encountered! She's very attentive and never makes me feel like she's in a rush or doesn't have time to talk. Even today, things are apparently running behind - she was nice enough to poke her head in and let me know it would be just a little longer until she's be in. I'm used to sitting alone in my waiting room for possibly an hour and no one gives you any clue as to what's going on. Dr. Cole is also one of the few doctors who works with Natural Family Planning. I don't mean to over share here on Yelp, but I think that's important to note because there aren't many doctors who are trained in NFP or who actually understand it at all. I think there are two other male doctors in STL who do NFP, as well. But I really preferred a female and I'm certainly glad I went with Dr. Cole because it's been nothing but a wonderful experience. I've been very we'll taken care of. Also, Mercy allows you access to an online account through which you can contact your doctor with questions that might not worth making an appointment for. Calling the front desk can be hit or miss. I have had a couple frustrating experiences in the past, but my most recent ones have been a lot more helpful and positive! So don't be discouraged by one bad phone call - Dr. Cole is absolutely worth it!!
I have a lot of respect for Dr Cole. She is the best PCP I have had in a long time and have been seeing her for 10 years. She is thorough and knowledgeable. She is quick to respond to evisits and with test results. The only bad thing I can say is that it is impossible to get a appointment with her. I usually have to see one of her partners if I need to see a Dr within a week. She is quick to respond to evisits and with test results.
Just trying to set up an appointment was painful. Her receptionist was extremely rude to me.
Dr. Cole is by far the best Dr. I have every had. I moved out of St. Louis and leaving her as a patient was truly a hard thing to do. Dr. Cole truly cares about her patients and there health.
Very caring and takes time to talk with you.
I am 62 years old. She reminds me of doctors from my younger years who made you feel that you were the most important person she WANTED to spend time with so she could take the best care of you. i love her sweetness, her kind voice and her warmth.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
