List of Scott Wasserstrom's Reviews
Dr. Wasserstrom seems to be working loophools in insurance to bill twice for a single visit. My annual physical, which is covered at 100% by my insurance, cost me $50. While $50 isn't a huge chunk of money, it's unethical that the doctor sends in two charges for the visit - one for the physical and one for an extra office visit. The justification they gave me was that I raised questions about other/new health concerns. What is the purpose of the annual physical if it's not to discuss changes in your health year over year? Probably best to look for a new doctor that isn't watching their clock and counting questions for billing insurance. Another example of a broken system.
Dr. Wasserstrom is thin-skinned and arrogant. I disagreed with his treatment recommendations. He became angry and defensive, pointing to his computer as an infallible source of information. He blows off questions about medication side effects and won't change his recommendations if problems crop up. He is fine as long as you don't ask questions. If you do, he will be unhappy.
Dismissive and not interested in trying to dig deeper to figure out the source of issues. He is almost impossible to get an appointment with and I've had to be seen by a nurse practitioner (who is much better and thorough than him). Any questions will be met with a rude response.
Good and thorough, stays on time, explains conditions well. Tends to be very condescending when answering questions he deems silly. I referred another to him and wish I hadn’t. Lacks the compassion chip. Not something that I can overlook but doesn’t reflect on his abilities as a competent physician.
Poor, no eye contact. Doesn't listen. Obviously doesn't understand basic medical problems. Doesn't like to be questioned. Only wants to do rushed yearly physical. When attempting to get appt. for illness was told he had no appts. for 2 months. Consistently told to go see a specialist or to go to the emergency room. Specialists laughed at his dx. Will be looking for another primary care physician.
Dr. Wasserstrom is caring, compassionate, responsive, and knowledgeable. He communicates extraordinarily well, both in person and by email. He is a dedicated professional and I recommend him without reservation.
He is very attentive and an excellent physician.
Poor communication and care; demeaning often. Felt uncomfortable around him.
Dr Wasserstrom and his staff are wonderful. No waiting for my appointment, on site labs and imaging available. As an RN I recognize a good doctor when I meet one. Not only is he good, but he is personable and dares to smile and laugh with me. He’s a keeper. I would gladly recommend him to anyone I care about.
Dr. Wasserstrom is an excellent physician. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and is on time with my appts. I feel he is concerned about my well-being. I am so glad he is my physician. My husband also sees Dr. Wasserstrom and is very pleased with his care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
