Dr. Pieper has been my “heart electrician“ since 2006. I have full confidence in his judgement concerning my care. He is the best in my book and truly cares about you. Never rushes your questions and gets to know about you as a total person. He recommended I see a sleep doctor for apnea and that was life changing for me. Everyone on staff at the heart center are amazing people too. I am in excellent hands for my heart health! ??

Not happy with the care I received. Still having the same issues and nothing has been resolved after 6 months. Don’t ever question him or ask questions about your care, it seems to annoy and anger him.

Super scary sometimes and friendly at other times. If I knew I was getting great medical care, I would suck it up and stay with this Doctor. However, after a year with subpar care and putting up with his unbelievable arrogance, it’s time to move on!

Wife recently had heart troubles. Spent hours looking for the best cardiologist in STL “on paper.” That led us to Dr. Stephen J. Pieper. He is incredible. One of the most intelligent and wisest men you will ever meet. We are grateful we found him and his staff. He is the doctor that I would trust the care of my mother, wife, or daughter.

I really like him. He seems very passionate about his job, yet is one of the most humble docs I have ever spoken with. Very intelligent and well-spoken, does not talk down to you at all. He was very respectful of my input and choices and I really appreciated that. I have been a heart patient for nearly eight years, and I would definitely recommend him.

You always wonder if you have a good doctor when it comes down to it. Dr.Pieper is a truly excellent doctor. Intelligent and caring. He listens to your concerns and feelings w/out that have to get to the next patient mentality. You may trust some doctors but wonder how smart they really are. Dr.Pieper is one to trust. You can bet your life on it. I did.
