Dr. Hunt is an amazing physician who takes the time to educate his patients regarding all essential procedures. The entire staff at BJHC is compassionate and professional and each member goes above and beyond what is required of them. The 2 hour commute to see him was worth every minute and I would recommend him to anyone who is facing a potential colo-rectal surgery. He was conservative in his approach and placed my needs and concerns as his top priority, performing the least invasive surgery possible to enable me to live a better life.

Dr.Hunt change My life . Took 1 ft of My colon out 6 years because of diverticulitis and Since then I was able to enjoy a normal life !!! Great Doctor!!! Thank you very much Dr.Hunt

Worst doctor I ever had. He operated, went through the intestinal wall and I had cancer back in a few weeks. Not to mention all the infections. I was in stage one. Came back and was in stage 3. He is rude and thinks he is God. Now, I am suffering from their so called cure of radiation and chemo. If you care about your life, don't use this man.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Hunt. Before you even have your first visit, you will find that his staff are warm, caring, organized and professional. Dr. Hunt communicates clearly and explains everything so well that you feel confident in his direction and know that you are in great hands. Most importantly to me, he did not perform any procedures that were unnecessary with my wellbeing in mind. When I went to the hospital to have my small procedure, all of the hospital staff had such high regard for him. I am thoroughly happy with my care under Dr. Hunt.

Drove 2 hours to see Dr Hunt and I’m glad I did. Very professional. Straight shooter. Received excellent care from him and the staff at Barnes. Would highly recommend.

Although Dr. Hunt may be very capable, his bedsid manner is horrible. He was condescending amd combative. It was obvious that he did not speak with his staff about my needs and seemed surprised at the prescription that was given me. I felt that I was on an assembly line instead of receiving individual patient care.

5 years ago I was airlifted to Barnes Hospital from a large hospital in central Illinois, Dr. Hunt was my doctor. At the time they did not know if I would make it, but Dr. Hunt and his team pulled me through. He was professional, honest and I think very good. It was an unknown illness, but he always searched for answers by consulting with other doctors along the way. Every time I returned for appointments he was very positive and encouraging. Everyday I celebrate my life and thank Dr. Hunt.
