My original appointment was cancelled by the office and the earliest I could reschedule was 2 months later. I waited an hour for her to see me, only to have her question a previous diagnosis by a specialist, and tell me I had to sign a contract to have her write my prescription.

I found Dr. Giri to be dismissive and condescending. I went to an appointment to get established as a new patient. I will not return. I'll be looking elsewhere for a primary care doctor.

Saw Dr. Giri as a new patient in early 2021, mainly for severe insomnia. Her staff checked me in late, then someone came into the room, didn't acknowledge my greeting and ignored me until asking my medical history, adding it to the system and walking out. Dr. Giri came in 20 minutes later and the entire visit consisted of her asking the same questions repeatedly (for example, asked 5-6 times, when did I last have bloodwork?) & paying no attention to my answers. She also latched on to seemingly random medical conditions that didn't apply to me. Acid reflux for example, despite me not having symptoms other than insomnia and a cough (leftover from covid in spring 2020) that a pulmonologist is treating. She prescribed antacids and an anxiety medication that I insisted I did not need, but I've been taking them anyway because I'm desperate. 4 months later: No change, I'm exhausted, still going with almost no sleep for 2-3 days, then passing out on the 3rd or 4th day. Looking elsewhere.

Save yourself some time and find a different doctor to see. I waited an hour for a well check just for her to tell me to eat healthy and exercise....which I do already. She also questioned a diagnosis that I have from a specialist and acted like it wasn't what I had at all. I will not be going back to her for primary care.

Though I waited extremely long and patiently for my appointment to began, my appointment was rushed by Dr. Giri and all of my concerns were not addressed. In addition, Dr. Giri spoke extremely condescending to me and acted as if she was doing me some big favor by even seeing me. She lacked empathy. She was rude unlike any Dr. I’ve ever encountered. (I wish I could give zero stars.)
