Very knowledgeable physician that takes the time to answer questions

Dr. Baranski asks great questions and offers meaningful insights and recommendations without condescension to his patients. Which would be easy to do because he’s super smart. But it’s not his style. He is a great teacher to residents and fellows, and demonstrates authentic concern for his patients.

I had been fighting several different seemingly unrelated (neurological, cardiac, dermatological and endocrine) medical issues over 17 years and had seen seven different doctors (including another endocrinologist and other specialists) countless times over those years with the same complaints. After years of research on my own I was certain that they were all related to an underlying endocrine disorder. None of the other doctors would listen to me or were willing/able to do anything for me. One of my conditions progressed to the point that I could no longer live with it and sought out one chance for help. I researched every endocrinologist in the St. Louis area and concluded that Dr. Baranski would be my best last-chance. I waited nine months for an appointment but, fortunately, he was will to take a new patient. He listened to everything I said and was willing to try a treatment protocol I suggested. Within a week of starting treatment all of my conditions started getting better and within a month nearly all of them were essentially gone. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say I owe my life to Dr. Baranski!

I've seen Dr. Baranski three times for the same issue. He seems to be a very competent doctor. Unlike most doctors in my experience he is easy to talk to and he listens well. He responds to patient portal e-mail with thorough responses rather than the 3 word responses many doctors give. For me he was really a breath of fresh air: courteous, professional, more thorough than most. He also seemed pretty tuned into understanding the impact of health problems on patients lives. More than once he respoinded to e-mailed questions from me even when he was on vacation. He seems quite well suited to his occupaction. I wish there were more doctors like him in the world.

I have been of patient of Dr. Baranski for almost 10 years. Best Doctor in the business in my opinion plus best Doctor I have ever had treat me.

Dr. Baranski has been my endocrinologist for seven years. With his caring treatment I have been able to lower my A1C from over 13 to below 7. He has always been very responsive to answering my occasional treatment questions between appointments (usually within an hour by e-mail even on the weekends). I am not there yet, but Dr. Baranski has been instrumental in me taking my life back. If you see this Dr. Baranski, thank you.
