I wish I could give a review of her actual medical care. But unfortunately the appointment that I had scheduled months in advance was cancelled 4 weeks out because "she won't be in that afternoon". So this was not some emergency cancellation. And her next available appointment is, again, not for months. Rude and inconsiderate of peoples time and an abuse of the already long wait times to get into specialists.

I love Dr McGregor!! She listens to what I say and hears me. She is timely and always kind and empathetic. She is also very sharp, and has kept me in good shape for over 6 years.

Dr. McGregor is the physician I have been searching for years. She is very personable and attentive, it was clear that I had her full attention and she offered me various treatment plans. In addition, she thoroughly explained my condition (with simple words and diagrams) and treatment options. Highly recommend.

I was specifically referred to Dr McGregor by my now former PCP (too many bad referrals)! Dr McGregor is the worst Endocrinologist I’ve ever meet. She is worse than the Endocrinologist she bad mouthed to patient(s)! Dr McGregor maybe fine as a Diabetes Specialist but she is absolutely appalling as a Thyroid Specialist. Dr McGregor is very honest. Your thyroid history (surgery, removal of part of your thyroid) means nothing her, your current symptoms mean nothing to her, or histories from other reputable ENTs/Endocrinologists! The only thing that matters is blood work. She looked at 6 month old blood work, immediately took me off of Thyroid medicine that I had been on since the 1990’s. Told me how she wanted me to have my blood drawn the next day. About 4-7 days later I received a note on MyMercy my blood work was fine and I needed NO follow up and no medicine! WOW, I hope she was judged on more than one set boards at her Caribbean Med School!! BUYERS BEWARE!

I have been a patient of Dr. McGregor's for over 5 years. I have found her to be highly knowledgeable, committed to providing the best professional guidance to managing both my acute and chronic metabolic conditions. Having a serious condition for over 40 years, I am relieved to find someone I can depend on to help me live a longer life. She is also very friendly and always on time. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my scheduled appointment. My only criticsm would be that because she is so popular, I need to schedule appointments with her 3 months in advance. But it is well worth the wait.

Hospital testing found 3 nodules in my thyroid, My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. McGregor's office for follow up and possible biopsy. My doctors office told me to be seen asap. The Staff at McGregors office said they could get me an appt. in 7 months. They didn't read my findings and I explained to them that I have a very bad family history of cancer and my brother was diagnosed with some cancer and died in 5 months, so I can't wait 7 months to find out if mine is cancer. They said they would talk to the doctor and get back to me. Nobody called back until I called again and left another detailed message on the answering system, with all of the information. A week later I still have no appointment and was talked to very rudely by Destiny at McGregors office. I asked her if they had told the doctor about the nodules and the cancer in my Father, Brother, Sister, Cousin, Uncles, Grandfather. I also shared that our family was asked to be in a study at SLUH, due to all of the cancers and deaths of my immediate family. We have missing 53 something and mutations. When people are scared they could have cancer, you should not make statements like do you want the appointment or not, and I am not going back and forth with you maam. Completely unacceptable, insensitive treatment of a scared patient. If you can't be compassionate with the patients you deal with daily, especially ones with high cancer risks who have test results of a negative nature, then you need to be fired.

The information on the web site indicates that Ms. Mcgregor is taking new patients; and yet I couldn't get a call back after 3 attempts. If you're not taking new patients by all means please remove conflicting information.
