Used Dr Hawkins for my son's abdominal Surgery to remove a couple of cancer growths on the Abdominal Wall. This doctor was excellent until he failed to properly supervise his Resident. The resident provided medication for Pain - but only enough meds to make it from Friday to Sunday noon. When we called to get more, the Post-Op call went to a resident who proceeded to send the Rx to a Mail-Order Pharmacy and the Pain Meds will be delivered in a week - we need them NOW! This is Unprofessional.

My daughter had an extremely rare condition that other doctors couldn't wouldn't treat . Not only did he agree to take her case but consulted 12 other doctors from other Children's hospitals to come up with a plan. He explains things well and is confident without being arrogant.

Dr. Hawkins removed a tumor that three other surgeons considered too risky. He put up with my banter and questions prior to and after surgery. I am still alive and grateful to spend another holiday with family.
