William Wright's Online Review Report Card

If I could give zero stars I would. Dr. Wright performed a catherization on my mom after she was experiencing heart blockage and put in a stint. He came later, while my mother was still sedated and I was the only one with her (her daughter) to tell us his prognosis despite my father being the recommended person to call to receive information regarding her condition. He started off the conversation with "you're not going to like this news...". He had the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced with a doctor. he told my mother there was a "good chance" she would die in her sleep. He mocked me for taking notes and said "you can tell your scribe over there this...". He ended the conversation with "Wish I had better news for you" stating there was essentially a grim outlook for my mother after her heart attack that she was not aware she had. My family was overwhelmed, exhausted and emotionally drained at this point not to mention my mom was STILL PARTIALLY SEDATED when he delivered this news. After speaking with several nurses and family friends and getting the same advice, we "fired" him as my mother's doctor and went with a different cardiologist, who was much more personable and just as competent skill-wise. He put our minds at more ease and didn't treat my mother and family as pieces of meat, with no empathy or regard for our emotional well-being. I was later told by a friend he was let go from his previous hospital for similar reasons and can no longer practice there.

Top in his field, stays with it till he gets the job done. Been seeing him for over 20 years, he has saved my life several times.Excellent office staff also.

I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy at all. Time to retire before he almost is sued for causing someone a heart attack again or worse. Be Careful People

He might be a good surgeon but this Dr has zero clue how to talk to patients. His bedside manner is horrendous. And that extends to his nurse practitioner as well.They don’t do a good job of following up or explaining medications. You are treated like a lower class citizen.

Poorest Excuse of a physician ever. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to him. Time to retire before he almost causes someone else a heart attack possibly. He needs to thank his lucky stars he's not been sued.

I had a stress test and subsequent heart cath exam though Dr. Wright's that was performed at St. Clair Hospital in Fenton, MO. Dr. Wright and his office nurse, Mary, were outstanding in their caring and listening. The operating staff at St. Clair Hospital also deserve five stars. Everyone kept me informed, kept on schedule, and really made me feel comfortable because they cared to do so. I recommend all of these professionals.
