Twenty minutes into my first visit with Dr. Blackburne- I knew he was a keeper! From his initial greeting - he was very personable, kind and showed sincere interest in me and my situation-which is so very assuring and comforting for a new patient. I greatly appreciate how he shows his passion for his profession, thinking out of the box and considering all angles ( discovering my somewhat rare ureteral cancer). Dr Blackburne takes the time to really listen to my questions , answering and explaining them in an easy to understand manner. If I had questions before the next visit, I could send them via the portal and he was very helpful and quick to get back with me, even calling me personally pertaining to a few of my lab result's. A very thorough and skilled surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner (and a sense of humor which is a big plus to me). Maybe you get the sense that I think very highly of Dr.Blackburne, well I do, and then some. An excellent Doctor and surgeon, a caring and compassionate person whom I highly recommend.. Thank You, Dr Blackburne!!

Exceptionally Skilled Doctor and Surgeon Dr. Andrew Blackburne is always courteous, extremely professional and makes one feel and know that they are in good hands with his exceptional skills. Dr Blackburn helped me to continue believing in the healing, before during the most excruciating and painful time of my life prior to the successful Life Saving Cancerous Kidney surgery removal and the post-surgery healing process. I'm literally alive today because of this perfect surgery by Dr. Andrew Blackburne. I highly recommend this skilled surgeon. If I remember correctly, part of his medical training was at the Mayo Clinic, which only accepts the best.

Dr. Blackburne is an excellent physician. I have seen three other urologists in the past so I have a frame of reference. He is very knowledgeable and explains the medical condition and test/treatment plan clearly.
