Dr. Houchin is truly a little black bag dr. He is never in a hurry like some Dr's. He told me once my time is your time. He also trains nurse interns, techs and even nurse practioners. He is through and takes his time and if you can't see him, he has 4 nurse practioners and his partner Dr. Adams on staff. IT'S easy to.get an appointment many times the same day. He is not a Demogod, he is down to earth and genuine. If you are looking for a Dr. then search no further, you have found him.

My husband and I have gone to Dr Houchin for about 28 years. He is kind, patient and very caring. The entire staff are always so nice and makes you feel very comfortable. We are so happy and grateful to have found Dr. Houchin and his amazing staff. Thank you.

This Is Probably The Best Doctor I Have Went To In Many Years.

Dr. Houchin has cared for me and my family members (several age groups) for several years and for a variety of illnesses. He has always been caring in his bedside manner and has included us in developing a plan of care. His staff, particularly Sonja, are kind. He's just the right mix if professional, friendly and an excellent sense of humor. I would highly recommend him for a primary care provider.

I chose this dr specifically because he is a DO. These dr's think "outside the box" of traditional medicine. I have an auto-immune disease but was not diagnosed while seeing Dr. Houchin. All of my symptoms were from this auto-immune disease and yet I was made to feel nothing was wrong with me because all of the tests run were negative. I mentioned the possibility of this disease and literally did not get a response. If you're expecting a dr to LISTEN to you, this office is not for you.

FYI: Dr. Houchin does not believe in prescribing birth control pills or patients taking birth control pills or pre- marital sex, for religious reasons. I thought this might help anyone seeing him avoid a embarrassing situation with this Doctor.

Dr. Houchin was my doctor for years and I trusted him, I had no reason not to. When I had a medical problem his answer was almost always its nothing to worry about or its probably just a virus without doing any further investigation. I ended up with severe medical problems, that he should have caught before they got really bad! I was very lucky to finally have talked to another doctor. Get a second opinion if he or any other doctor dismisses your problem, it might save your life.
