List of Cindy M Fortado Clark's Reviews
Enjoyed Dr. Fortado-Clark when she had a private practice, since joining a group her service has declined dramatically. Appointments 3 months out, always referring you to a Nurse Practitioner and will not return calls. My daughter had it rough last year went 2 months without limited mobility that came from God knows what, multiple ER visits and Urgent Care visits; still don't know what happened. Dr. Clark refused to talk to me and her nurses were rude and unprofessional, currently seeking new doctor for my family.
I LOVE Dr. Clark! I have been seeing her since early 2018. Among other things, I credit her for saving my life. I have been chronically lax about annual mammograms. Noting that I had not had one since 2012, she repeatedly and firmly insisted I have one (along with my first colonoscopy). I finally conceded in December 2019, and despite having no visible or physical clues, was officially diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2020 (and subsequently treated). If not for her unrelenting and firm insistence on getting the mammogram, I would have continued to procrastinate for who knows how long, and I could have had a much worse outcome. I'm so grateful for her!In addition to that, I have had a bazillion-zillion doctor and medical appointments this year that have required some involvement on her part, usually with last-minute notice - referral letters, clinical letters to the insurance company to justify an out-of-network referral, various medical equipment, and qualifying information for medical transportation eligibility. I simply send her a note via My Chart, and before I can blink my eyes, boom, there's the letter, along with the approval from the insurance company.During my visits with her, she is always compassionate and thorough, reviewing my chart history and latest events as well as any verbalized issues in great detail. She listens carefully to any issues I'm having and responds accordingly. She NEVER, EVER makes me feel rushed, and that means so much. I feel like she cares about me and my well-being, which is not something I can say about all of my doctors. I always look forward to seeing her, whether it's in person or via zoom.Ditto for her staff. Whether it's via My Chart notes or phone calls or in-person contact, I feel welcome and cared about by her staff, and no matter how often I have to call with new requests, they are patient and never make me feel like I'm being a bother.I'm very happy being under the care of Dr. Clark and her staff. I feel like I am in good hands, and I would recommend her to others.
Good bedside manner, no nonsense but very caring and listening
This Dr should not have a license. She does not listen to your concerns and is always in a rush to get you out of the office and make another appt. My mother went in with a life threatening infection and the Dr told her she needed to eat more fiber. Unfortunately, my mother has passed. I would not send my worst enemy to this lady!
I’ve had positive experiences with this doctor and would recommend her to other friends and family.
I've not been happy with this office's call center. You call to make an appt to see the doctor, they ask you 50 questions, then tell you a nurse will call you back. Why? I'm wanting an appointment! The nurse calls back and tells you the Dr wants me to go to the ER. For a sore throat? Or for leg pain? Seriously?I pressed the issue, demanding an appt and was told her next appt was October 25th! Really? She can't see me for a month? The last time this happened, I requested a call back from the Dr. The next day her nurse called me. I told her what happened, she seemed surprised. Said the Dr would have seen me right away. This is enough for me to start looking for a new primary care physician.
My last appointment with this doctor did not go well. She was more worried about the sodium content listed at my work cafe' than anything else and where my choices were to eat out. I was told right out of the gate I had not been seen in a year and half. I was very much aware of that. Medications refilled at a higher mg's even though I had not been on them in a while and needed labs. I will be finding a new doctor. ASAP.
She rushes you in and out of her office and tries to schedule you for as many appointment as she can. One time I was trying to ask her an important question and she told me we could talk about it next time and rushed me back I to reception to schedule another appointment. She’s a waste of time.
DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE!
I had a terrible new patient experience with Dr. Fortado-Clark. I showed up for my first appointment 15 minutes early and was turned away because they doctor already moved on to the next patient and I should have been there 30 minutes early. They were completely inflexible. I've never heard of a doctor moving on to the next patient because you weren't early enough!! Will not be going back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
